Spent a week in Wales and a week in Spain last year. On both occasions neither mine or the Mrs phone touched a mains socket, both phones charged within 1-2 hours in the morning.

    Anker 21 watt solar panel.

I must be lucky, I get at least 8 hours out of mine with Glonass and Bluetooth switched off.

Normally a weeks worth of commuting on one charge,

I loved half life 2, and recently replayed it along with EP1 and EP2, with the difficulty cranked up I still loved it. One of my all time favourites.

Back to playing CSGO again now though trying to keep up with the youngsters.

Canal out of the city centre on Sustans 535 then onto 534, through Newhall Country park and into Sutton Park. Could always then head over to Kingsbury water park before returning to Birmingham.

Really hope you get them back, do you have any pictures of the bikes? Set up search alerts on gumtree/eBay entry.

What Sony has achieved with the price point of their vehicle headset is impressive, though as a non ps4 owner uptake will still be inhibited by overall cost.

Still saving my pennies for the HTC vive.

I’m 6’2″ and ride an XL PP Shan with a 125 mm dropper post. The seat post is fully inserted into the frame and at full extension the pedalling position is perfect, I wouldn’t be able to reach the pedals with a 175mm post!!!

Do people really have frames that are that small to require so much seat post?

Protein and carbs soon after the ride will aid with recovery. How much cycling were were doing before the new job, perhaps a rest day or two is in order.

Interesting info joolsburger, still unfortunately have to recommend Oakley. My jawbone are 6 years old and still going strong.

Wouldn’t use anything to heavy, light grease/heavy oil on the cable. Oil the outers too.

My Shimano’s are 4 years old and still work like new, they’ve only had 4 new calipers and 3 new levers and 40 bleeds

I’ve had the non drive side fall off two square taper chainsets and one external BB/Hollowtect chainset.

Its not happened for a number of years now but annoying none of the less and resulted in having to buy new chainsets as the old threads/axles would be shot. I went through a period of checking the bolts weekly to ensure they were tight but the problem still persisted.

Yes, just ensure you have the GXP BB92 BB and not the shimano version.

Or if you run the Hope PF41 BB you’ll also need the GXP converters.

Phoned my LBS this morning for a small part – said they had a selection. when I got there the selection was neatly arranged on the counter. The mechanic then came over and went over the pro’s and cons of each. When I made my decision he got it out of the package to make sure it worked properly before I left.

    So not all bad

My old LBS, glad to see they’re still decent.

Apply plenty of grease/anti seize. Nip it up tight but don’t go other the top.

Mine has been fine and removed now and again.

If you have sufficient amounts for of ram them disable page file or move to the HDD. Also doable hibernation if you don’t often allow your pc to sleep.

I started on a blind deck, independent trucks and some random wheels. It lasted me for years, then I bought a new deck but don’t think I every changed the trucks going on for 10 years so would recommend them. Cost me about £50 with mates rates from the local shop, bit probably closer to £80-100 in today’s money.

I’ve had two sets of Shimano XT brakes fail (not spectacularly mind), where as my Hopes have been perfect for the last four years.

Also, I can’t recall seeing so many threads regarding problematic Shimano brakes that have been popping up on here over the last few months. Has there been a ‘bad’ batch of shimano stoppers?

    Sounds amazing on all levels.

Sometimes life becomes so busy that it feels like we live in a world without adventure but these type of feats make me want to get out a ride my bike and forget about everything else.
