You could always try patching the tyre from the inside.

I can’t fault mine for what it cost (79.99 from Aldi)..

Will record at intervals between 1-5seconds depending on changes of direction, but can cut corners on tight single track. Batter with bluetooth & Glonass switched off will do around 7-8 hours.

Just asked my mother (mp and councillor) to share though she may not want to burn bridges :-).

Also shared on my social media.

Foel fadian was interesting on a cross bike with 160/140 rotors fully laden with bike packing gear.

Alex, next year you need to do it the real way, self supported and wild camping.

We did it in June this year is okish weather, those pictures brought back some great memories. We did it on our cross bikes, the only section I wish I had my mountain bike was on the slate descent (moel glas?).

Nope, but you may want to ensure you get hdmi 2.0 depending on what you’re connecting if you want 4k 60fps.

You may find that the tyre bead has been damaged after being blown off (fnar fnar) and may cause you future problems if running tubeless.

I have a shan 27 in gulf colours, not the gt. It rides great but they do size up small, I’m 6’1″ and ride an xl.

    Based in the Midlands also.

I managed to bend two sprockets in Wales a few weeks ago, 32t and 30t.

Using a vice and mole grips I managed to slowly bend the sprockets back and all has been well since (about 200miles ridden)

Arkose 4 has replaceable cartridge bearings, so just replace the bearings if they are knackered.

If you want to replace the wheels though you could send them my way

I’ve just had my bike back from its 4-6 week service and the gearing (front and rear) is now terrible, I had just re-tensioned and indexed it a few days ago. God knows what they’ve done in the store.

Thanks for the info James, any idea on the stock arkose 3 wheel weight. Mine are sounding and feeling a bit rough already after just 6 weeks, so will be looking for an upgrade sooner than later.

Having just completed the trans cambrian on my Cross bike, I shall be buying some finned pads.

After coming down the Glaslyn decent on day three (1.5mile, -15% average peaking at -40% all onslate bed), my brakes were smoking.

Evans has/had a trade in scheme going at the moment so I just picked up my Arkose 3 for £1k trading in my old Single speed.

N+1, I now have to buy a new single speed

Took my kids (5 & 8) to their first concert last Sunday, just over a week after the Manchester incident. Yes, it makes you think a bit more and be a bit more paranoid/observant but I wouldn’t not take them, the loved it (kiss 2017 tour)

They are very aloof, good with owners but don’t like fuss of strangers though they are not aggressive. He seems more traditional (Bone mouth) than the meat mouth chinese shar peis (blame the AKC) so won’t suffer from eye lids.

Very stubborn dogs though, need good discipline.

I have a traditional Shar Pei, so less wrinkly and no problems with the eyelids to skin irritations.

She’s two years old now and no problems with the ears, though she’s quite happy having them cleaned. Limited history of Shar Pei fever in her bloodline too as we know her mom/dad/grandparents.

The breed in general, if socialised with strangers and other dogs regularly they are happy and docile, though they are naturally stranger avoidant rather than stanger aggressive unless it’s a stranger in your house (mines gets rather grumpy).

Mine does stink a bit and the breed, mine especially dislikes water so bathing is definitely a two man job.

She is a lovely family dog, loves the kids (Age 8 and 5) and our two cats. Wouldn’t have another dog.
