I see salsa do not manufacture a 29.8mm, a 30mm is the next closest. Will the .2mm make a difference, will be seat post be always slipping?

and for every 10mm you add half a degree to the head angle, so your head angle is an extra 1 degree slack.

Looks all right to me though

Marzochi’s also have very long axle to crown heights for their given travel, so I can imagine how slack the head angle is. Go on, post a pic :-)

as long as you like the way it rides, i would rush into bodging it,

The Summer season’s where designed to run a shorter fork but still retain a slack head angle, only the original 456 was for long travel forks.

So a summer season with 150mm (which forks are running) very well likely be too much.

Browsing via phone so the pic is a bit small, but that looks like a Beech tree which are notorious for dropping branches. Person who put the bench under the beech tree is to blame.

Another vote for SDG Bell Air Ti, dead comfy but a bit squeaky.

This is why I love STW, and Pleasecycle you have portrayed you and your company very well on here when it would have been very easy to hide. The Website is now reading much better.

I have sent you an email as I shall refer your services to my employer as they are currently looking to alternative transport arrangement.

    All the best.

We’re doing it again next summer, but this time will have a 3 year old and a 9/10 month old so may be a bit more difficult. Both will fit in the trailer, but my Daughter would rather use her balance bike for long distances so will have to bring that too.

Took my little one to France when she was 9 months old, we had the bike and trailer & tent and travelled to different camp site via bike.

There are many people who have ridden the mega and will continue to ride the Mega on hardtails. Granted you wont be as quick as some of the other riders, but you have just as much fun

Carlos idea is a good one, though i would prefer the allocation of prizes as the first drawn get ‘best prize’ tat being the BMX or guided holiday.

Then with prizes of similar value, stems, grips, gloves ect. give the winner the choice.

I have ordered several a lot of things from on-one and have always been happen, but there is no smoke without fire so if a few people are grumbling there are problems.

Dave, thank you very much for providing an informative and truthful response, good luck with the future and hopefully everything will be back to normal shortly.

Is it the desire HD or the standard Desire, the Desire HD sounds very good for a phone with its built in Dolby SRS processor. Much better than my 4th Gen Nano.

Though, I mainly just use my Sansa Fuze for music these days

So are the Dual Air forks more reliable or perform better than the dual position forks?

I’ve currently got a set of the Dual position Revelations sat in the shopping basket. Does the Dual air version of these forks offer more controlled damping?

Far too many cyclist think they are superior for not using public transport/car.

I travelled to work via bus today, as im currently rebuilding my wheel for my bike.

I don’t have to justify my means of transport to anyone, though I understand your frustration and best wishes to your friend. However, there is no need to be a dick, accidents happen. He could have been hit by a bus, lorry, pedestrian, crashed from a pot hole.

We all take a calculated risk when travelling to work regardless of choice of transport.
