For comfort, quality, reliability and practicality the Zafira wins hands down.

Depending on your budget and how old a car you would consider, the rather ugly fiat Multipla was a good car.

For something new, consider a Skoda Yeti.

Just changed from 180/180 to 180/160 on an original On one 456. No real difference in power but the rear wheel is now less prone to locking up.

I’ve started riding with the trailer and come home with multiple black bags full of rubbish at times.

I was thinking the same rocketdog, access to the Wyre is probably going to get restricted pretty soon.

From my under standing, the flood gate control determines when the low speed compression damping is over ridden.

Example. If you run no low speed compression (blue dial on left hand leg) the Floodgate has no effect at all, nor do you obtain any lock out).

With some compression damping dialled in, the flood gate control can determine how much force is required to make the forks active, so you can effective stiffen the forks/slow them down until sufficient force activates them.

I run the required compression with a little flood gate (5-6 clicks out of the 20) so I have a very active forks over the small bumps, with enough compression /4-6) clicks so stop them diving. I run the PSi at 70 in both positive and negative chambers and I weigh 160lbs.

The hope batteries are tiny? Plus you can always run the extended cable to a back pack/pocket

Pikes only come in a bolt thru guise. so if you only have 9mm QR hubs you’ll have to factor in the cost of a new hub/wheel build or a conversion kit if necessary.

Then buy new rings for £££, not much margin there is they if you need new rings. The SLX for £79.99 is a good price, and the weight is neglible between the SLX and XT, not even to warrant the price difference.

My Pace RC41 Fighters QR were stiffer than my 20mm Bolt thru Revs

Mine went a bit mental today, Average speed was correct at 18mph (Rode to work) top speed 13mph.

No probs in locking onto a sats though.

I couldn’t stand the Nobby Nic on the front, that was quickly changed to a bonty XRC, however I find the Nobby Nic on the rear to be great.

Have you tried running them in the wrong direction?
