it is a really simple job and a pleasure to do, no more than an hour tops for the first time.

Yeah, though you was talking about Kinver, don’t think it would have the capacity for mountain mayhem.

Use it as an excuse to go 1x 9/10.

It should be fine though with a bit of tweaking of the front mech.

There’s a country park I took the kids to many years ago, can’t remember it’s name, but it was west of Birmingham and had a load of sandstone caves – would fit the bill (from memory) as a place with hills, well drained, and rocky stuff.

Living in Birmingham, I would like to know hat country park your talking about, sounds interesting. Only place with sandstone caves sound like Kinver

Tragic, something monumental needs to be done by the government.

I’ve got the Zee rear Mech (11-36 wide ratio) from JE James cycles, Zee shifter (from Merlin Cyles). XT 11-36 cassette and some KMC chain (cant remember the model) plus the superstar BB mount guide.

No problems with the guide, back plate seems to be plenty strong enough, cant see how i would bend it and it keeps the chain on fine.

My Xt775 developed a seal leak too, they are currently in the spares box so will be very much interest in finding a seal that fits to repair them.

Run 1 x 10 with 32 upfront and 11 – 36 out back, so far I love but haven’t ridden any where with Monster climbs yet.

Might need a medium cage for running two rings up front, to take up the chain slack when in the granny.

Sighs at lack of elementry physics, wood is generally less dense than bricks that’s why it floats, some woods do not float.

When something like a log of wood is put into water, it pushes down on the water and the water moves aside to make room for the object. When there is enough water to push back up against the object with the same force as the object is pushing down, then the object will float!

That’s why a piece of wood that is lightweight for its size will float in a big body of water, like the ocean or a river. However, that same piece of wood might not float in a different smaller body of water.

order dispatched today, yes i read the whole thread, also read online that it can take 3-5 days for delivery, was just hoping they would be here by the weekend.

Only rang to check my order was successful as i received very little information by way of email with regards to my order and with the code error not sure if it was being honored.
