Over the christmas period i have built an old Tamiya M03 mini cooper, but coverted to 2s lipo and brushless.

Then built a Schumacher Cat K1 Aero 1/10 Buggy runnin 4s – This is such a fun car and probably my favourite car of all time for its speed and manouverability.

Then I bought a slightly use Aarma Mojave 6s – this is a 1/7th scale Desert / Short course Truct and is an absolutely animal. So easy to driver and crazy fast, its got me exploring my local arears for spots to let it go.

Another to link deco m9 user here. Three nodes, one on each floor, with ethernet back haul.

I get full speeds across the WiFi and ethernet, including when accessing the NAS. App is easy to use, parental features are good, seriously hard not to recommend.

Another happy Octopus user here, was £200 in credit after referalls from friends and family so dropped DD amounts.

Much cheaper than previous supplier (utility warehouse)

Mesh WiFi is most effective at ensuring whole house coverage, though not the cheapest. Depending on the wiring in your house, a power line adaptor to share the WiFi is cheap, but may not be as effective.

Edit, the problem I’ve had with using a 2nd router is that devices wouldn’t smart switch to the strongest signal, so I would still get slow speeds until I manually chose the the network. Mesh WiFi smart switches.

My eldest is only 11, but I would ask what your child does to earn that £40 per month? Washes the car, walks the dog, household chores etc? Do you fund his phone bill/top ups or does this come out of the £40?

I personally think £40 a month is more than fair, if he wants more maybe come up with some additional task he could do each month to your standards that will give you more free time to ride your bike :-) Win win.

Playing devil’s advocate, the fact that it was an ebike and possibly hacked may not of contributed anything to the death of the victim (depending on spee
d of idiot in bike), but of course the media will spin any story to make cyclist public enemy number one.

All for a strong sentence, they just need to remember the same rule book applies to motorist too which is often miraculously forg.

Anker really do have the power bank game sewn up, good build quality, good prices and good customer support. They clearly didn’t get the “choose two” memo.

I’ve got three packs of varying sizes, the oldest being 5 years old and still going strong.

I play around 10 hours of counter strike each week, will spend several hours a week watching the pros play when the majors (trophy tournament’s) are on, mostly for entertainment and appreciation of their skill levels, but also to improve my own game. I suck at fortnite though haha.

Budget? You can get some great laptops with a ryzen cpu and an ssd for very little outlay at the moment.

Or two power banks, which is cheaper and a guaranteed capactity (might not be sunny etc.)

Though in my experience, the solar panels work great.

I’ve used the 21watt anker solar panel on many trips in the UK/France/Spain.

Even on a normal Sunny day in wales it would charge both our phones in 2 hours. So just leave it charging a power bank during the day, use the power bank at night.

A 20k power bank should charge the phone 6 times, solar top ups will make it easy.

What do they need the generator for? Surely a a good capactity powerbank will sort phones and batteries for the weekend, if not a small solar panel works well for topping up phones/batteries.

    Less weight and cheaper.

Wow, those Michel Thomas books are expensive.

Guess that drives the commitment to learn though.

Have hiked a bike up coniston, sty head and other similar hills – Bike laden with bike packing equipement probably weighs the same as an e-bike.

We had this exact thing a few years ago when we lived in Brum. An old/derelict cinema with space for about 15 cars out the front. After the first objections the applicant changed the emphasis of the application from weddings to ‘banqueting’ and suggested everyone would be bussed in on two coaches.

Planners didn’t even give those arguments the time of day and it was rejected because of the severe traffic issues it would have caused.

I would simply base your objection on the access and egress issues as that seems to be something the planners are pretty hot on, rather than the actual usage.

You used to live in Great Barr and i claim my £5. Same thing happened here to a local cinema, the traffic disruption and the general attitude of the guest is appalling.

I’m in the minority of people whom didn’t have a problem with th darkness of Got, or other programmes for that matter (Luther got a lot of complaints too).

I always calibrate my tv sets using proper equipment, and use different modes for time of day/type of movie etc. Game of thrones was beautiful and perfectly visible (for what the director wanted viewers to see)

    2800Kwh Electric, 33000kwh Gas.

Old house, 20 year old boiler, poor windows and holes in the roof. We are moving in a few weeks to a new house, so will look forward to our gas usage dropping considerably.

Just watched the Dawn Wall. Mind blowing.

Didn’t realise until today this is the same mountain as Free Solo.

So what’s the difference here? (Apart from different climbers)

There are many different routes on that wall, Alex (free solo) was the first person to climb el capitan using no ropes. Tommy (Dawn Wall) was the first ever person to climb the dawn wall, leading climbing so no assistance from the rope.

Try a recovery disc/USB if you have a spare computer? Alternatively do an install to a different partition/drive then access your steam libraries from windowsold.

I would just do a clean install however.

If your using steam, you could get someone else to download it, create a back up to USB, then install locally on your pc.

Steam will then detect game files and add to your library.

Even if its available on retail dvd, 99% of the time the dvd just activates the download via the steam client etc. Remember dvd is only 4.7 gb or 9.4gb for dual sided, so it will need to be spread over multiple disc.

Whilst a haircut and shave may be be considered as trivial, these are big steps for you and your family in adjusting back into a routine lifestyle where possible. I have the upmost respect for the amount of courage and strength you have shown during this time of difficulty.

All the best mate, you’re doing great.
