Someone told me once (probably the "bloke down the pub" type thing) that in Switzerland bikes had to be registered or licensed, with a numbered plate attached to each one if you want to ride them out on the road. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, does it help or hinder?

You know what, I'm with hora on that one. The fella went in there to nick a bunch of stuff that we, being the bunch of mugs that we are, will ultimately have to pay to put back. So **** him, quite frankly. Simple as that.
Got the 605 and yes, very disappointed. Totally regret buying it. I appreciate it's got a lot of fitness functions, but nowhere does it say 'oh and btw, this is gonna be frustratingly crap at navigation'. Hrumph! :roll:
