That was my thinking…although I might give tf a ring in the morning to see if they can guess what’s wrong with it!

tommygee… first attempt was disastrous – with panniers, stuck in Easter snow on high street, avoided cross fell (snow). Second attempt self-supported with lightweight kit, 3 days with a tailwind assist! Yep great route but you’re right… not to be underestimated!

years and years ago, mbuk published a route, which we rode. properly hard through the lakes. went something like this; whitehaven, ennerdale, black sail pass, wasdale head, styhead, langdale, troutbeck, high street, across Eden valley to dufton, cross fell, garrigill and then joins the current f2f route

as far as I recall, a habitable room has to have ventilation (normally provided by an openable window). thus a box room with no window is unlikely to be able to be classed as a bedroom if it doesn’t have suitable ventilation… same goes for half-arsed attic conversions.. unless they met thebuilding regulations at the timd of construction, they can’t be classed as habitable rooms

i don’t know you but i feel for you loss

my father lost is fight with mesothelioma (asbestos cancer) two years ago very suddenly – gentle decline one day, gone the next. my oldest son was 6 months old, and i am constantly grateful that they had the chance to meet – and pained that he will never meet the twins born last month. we made a book of photos for the boys so in a few years time they will have something to remember their grandfather by.

as others have said… remember the good times and celebrate a life lived – i found doing something special on his anniversary helped immensely – dad bought me my first mountain bike, so i went off for a bivy night and enjoyed the sunrise and a morning ride

Awful customer service, and no technical staff to sort out problems when they occur

Hope XC Front Hub… been on my bike since 1996, never changed the bearings, used every day for my commute – 3rd or 4th rim by now mind you

(now I've said that it'll break tomorrow… watch this space!!)

not the c702. Mine has been 'repaired' 3 times and replaced twice in 9 months. I was seduced by the idea of a robust phone, but the C702 is definately not it. Got dust and moisture inside and kept turning itself off.

Rubbish phone (which is presumely why they are not often seen!)

    Waiting for upgrade time 🙂

    Thanks…

    Pretty sure it’s a 92 ( as that’s when I bought it!)
Off to halfords in the morning…. That really hadn’t occurred to me!
    Must get more sleep 🙂
