    456 looks sweet steve.

The rock garden looks tame these days, have they sanitised it 😉

Did weacombe today, still fast but with the spray it made it a messy affair, nothing like the look of smiles through muddy faces though…class!
The Q’s are fairly damp right now, but i found out the summer tyres i fitted and used today, are just fine so much more grip than my heavily worn previous tyres.

Maybe i’m just a big kid and enjoy the dirt, at least it doesn’t stick…

Scruff of the neck method works well, not a bike to mince on, mine was an 18" and i’d of kept it if it was a small, Rampage out back and a ST on front worked well.

Did hundreds of Quantocks miles on it, climbed well enough for me and never really took it to it’s limit as much as it deserved.

Like many bikes they’re either right for you or wrong, which is why i’s so important to demo as many as you can.

The only way it’s not good for me is that the more i ride the more likely and closer i am to my next hospital trip, it also means i have no socail life outside riding……..i see your point.

I understand your statement more now, yeah! for those not motivated to get fitter, then heavier bikes are unlikely to get you fitter like a lighter bike would, but at least they’re out there riding, so they’ll be getting fitter than the idol lot out there.

    Just ride!

Riding alot will get you fit no matter what you ride, i mean 4,5,6 times a day, if you do this you’ll hardly notice the weight you’re dragging around, then lighten the bike and see the difference.

I’m not sure i can do a good route that’s not been done by one of the many magazine trail guessers, i’d rather show others around and plan the route once i’ve gauged the kind of rider and fitness they are, that way it’s maximum fun, without them trying to follow a route that’s too hard or not exciting enough for them.

Of course if the peeps here want to be shown some of the lesser known trails up there, i’m sure one of locals will be happy to help.

Jon Whyte bought them to stop you buying them all 😉
