Problem is that he would never say 'Gordon's Alive!!' so a little pointless in my opinion 😉

Thighs are a little large for my liking! Apart from that I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Not sure I could watch a lot of those guys – I suppose I may have said that about Jezzer, May and Hammond but the only problem is I'm addicted!

Forgot to add that printer is connected to the network and not via USB.

The living space in the Gelert is 2.8m x 3.5m which looks a lot bigger than the Coleman!

Just bought a Gelert Horizon 8 for my family of four. Loads of space and a better use of space than the Outwell Hartford XL which I was considering.

It is a tunnel tent which may put some off but we think it is excellent.

I would agree but check her out with curly hair!

Natalie Robb does nothing for me unlike Rachel McAdams (phwoar – or is that juvenile!)

Have bought a number of the Gamma for myself and family and they are great.
Less money than a Petzl but not as good quality – well worth the saving though as their customer service is excellent.

to believe that the tories have some kind of financial magical wand is very naive

I said that I didn't think the Conservatives would do any better although I am not holding my breath for the impending financial meltdown!

Also, the continued borrowing was not sustainable!

Old enough to know better probably!

Just want to know why you think that the last Labour government had nothing to do with the recession we are in now and why it was the previous Tory governments fault.

I believe the Conservatives got us out of the last mess that Labour created. Oh and I suppose that you agree with constant borrowing at Labour's intended rate which eventually needs to be paid back before the countries we borrow from decide we are a bigger risk than they thought ❓

WTF is it with Labour supporters who think that Gordon Brown was Gods gift to the UK economy. Unfortunately, I don't think the Cons will do a better job but they couldn't do worse!

    Hi Cougar,

I would agree with you but I have seen a number of routers which do exactly this but it is usually wireless instead of wired, in all cases the address has been 169.xxx.xxx.xxx. In 99% of cases I have just set the IP manually and left it like this. In the rest of the cases I have had the router replaced under warranty. I would agree therefore that the 195 was a typo. 😉

A 195 address occurs when it cannot get a correct address using DHCP/auto.

Go into the TCP/IP properties for the adapter and set the IP manually from there!

If the router's IP is 192.168.0.1 (default gateway) then PC should be 192.168.0.xx (I would use 99). This should work and not cause consistency errors.

If you set an IP address manually, with subnet, default gateway and DNS (from router summary page) then strange that you could ping it but not access summary page/Internet. This either works or doesn't and you would not get just the ability to ping. I would double check all LAN settings again that you have entered manually again and retry!

Its not unusual for these Router's to stop working. I have had problems with some that have the Internet light on and won't connect and some that can connect wirelessly and not wired.

Firstly, I would reset it (hold both buttons on the side) and reconfigure. If that fails then get it replaced under warranty!

What kind of external hard drive? It could be the disk or the chassis/gubbins it is connected to!

My old Sky box (not Sky+) receives the Freeview channels without the Freesat card. I think its a con to get £20 out of people!

Interesting to hear that your speed has dropped. I have a customer on a long line and they have had major problems but only since the exchange was upgraded from 8Mb to 20Mb. I think the infrastructure was able to cope better with slower line speeds.

We even tried LLU broadband from a different ISP and although that worked for a couple of months the speed went from 750Mb to virtually non-existent. They said that there would be a maximum of 20 people using the LLU line which seems remarkably little but obviously even that was too much with a long line!

Transocean are not getting any flack because nobody knows who they are unlike BP. They are probably at fault but the owner/operator is deemed culpable in situations like this!

I can't believe that Opera is not used by more people. I have used IE, Firefox and Chrome; IE is s**t, Firefox started off okay and then seemed slow and started to eat memory and I just don't like Chrome.

Opera is quick and also looks pretty good!

I cleaned my Decking with my pressure washer a couple of weeks ago but found I had to get the nozzle really close otherwise it didn't shift anything.

Have just painted it with Cuprinol Decking stain treatment but at £25 for 3 litres from Homebase it better be good.
