I have had similar problems with a client who has cable connection. The Internet seems intermittent at best and you need the router to valid the connection before it will allow any locally connected devices to access the Internet. Log into the router and see what it thinks is the status of the connection. You may need to reboot the cable modem and router in order to get a connection. Once you get the Internet working then investigate why the remote access to the NAS isn’t working!

dh – I have checked all users and only the config on an iMac works whereby the user receives an email invitation and they can then accept to update the calendar. The other users have MacBooks with a different version osx and they are configured in the same way but they do not receive the email invitations!

The Asus DSL-N55U rates very highly in tests and is about £100. I installed one fairly recently and although not as intuitive as the Netgear it works well and I have hear no complaints!

I am not sure that Delta search is classed as a virus but its definitely malware. It is another unwanted program that gets installed with other programs that you may or may not want. When I had it I was trying to create a Vista recovery disk and it got installed when I tried to create the ISO disk. Once removed from add/remove programs and after a few av/malware scans I had completely eradicated it!

They are in add/remove programs as well so should be removed from there!

Not tried pinging from the router but I can ping the IP address from a PC on the network!

I have set-up the port redirection, opened the port and set-up the address mapping as per the instructions but it still doesn’t want to play!

I believe it needs to be inbound and outbound but not sure how to configure the firewall policy!

The camera is on a fixed IP.

Protocol is set to TCP!

The model is a 2850n. I have opened ports 81 to the ip address 192.168.0.99 and it is active. Do I need to open the map and map the address?

I really dont understand what makes some people read something somone else has said then ignore what I have written but still come on here and make pretty stupid and derogatory comments about me.

For the record I said Robshaw is a good player and good captain recently but might be a better six than 7. Cole is an excellent tighthead, parling and launbury very good locks ( maybe too similar to be an otstanding pairing) and Tuilagi a very fine player. I likeboth Youngs too. Lawes is a **** though and so are Hartkey and and Ashton. The england is playing better than wales in the recent past and are justifiable favourites. Wales can win though if they up their game.
Croft is like a better version of Aaron Shingler, not the type of player I look for in a six and too lightweight for lock.

Norths comments are stupid but hes only about 12 he’ll learn when he grows up.

AA – TBH I dip in and out of this thread as whenever I do read it there is always some anti-english comment which just makes me think what is the point of reading on when I know what is going to be written! This is probably where I have missed your pro-england statements. Incidentally, I have Welsh and Scottish mates and they will gladly support anybody who is playing against England and whilst I also find this equally annoying I have always gone along with it but in this thread it is just plain annoying. Personally, I support Wales when they are not playing England as I have Welsh ancestry but I would lay any money that no Welshman would think the same way!

I know its a long shot to go from what AA said to my comment but I firmly believe that most Welsh supporters are so blinkered that they would feel that they have let their country down if they admit that an English player was any good! Personally, I don’t feel it very sporting for North to state this but players are not shy of stoking the fire!!

How much has Croft played since coming back? Cant say I’ve ever been that impressed with him.

Windows 7 (Basic, Home Premium and Pro) can be downloaded as an ISO from Microsoft. Burn the ISO, install and then use your key. Otherwise, just reinstall from the recovery partition! Ctrl F10 at boot-up should get you into the Recovery software.

It could be related to memory. Try taking out one of the modules and try re-installing again.

I had a problem with a Desktop PC that wouldn’t even load the files to start the install until I changed the memory!

Sony has its own connectivity software (VAIO connect) which needs to be configured. The icon is in the system tray and is orange and white as far as I remember. Even if you use Windows to control the connection it seems to always want to takeover!

I never have a problem with City Link other than their online tracking can be a bit off sometimes.

Completely agree. Both my City-Link and DPD drivers are great. I know them quite well and they get a drink from me fairly regularly. I know this doesn’t help the OP but it helps to know your drivers!

No surprise! Personally I always loved Blackberrys but I couldn’t wait for them to work properly so have gone to the dark side. Have to say my iPhone just works – with everything!

I joined th Gym on 1st May and have dropped from 14.5stone to 12stone. In all honesty I had to change my diet as my body was storing low soluble fat and as a result I barely eat any carbohydrates. I do 3 to 4 spin classes a week and try and steer clear of alcohol until the weekend. Only problem is trying tto keep it off over Christmas! Incidentally, I seem to have a craving for chocolate cake 😯

The Outlook.pst file for Office 2010 is in your My Documents folder. I think last time I asw this problem I copied the pst file and renamed it, I then opened the Mail icon in the Control Panel and specified the new file as the default mail file.

First off reboot to ensure that its not a file locking problem. Then search for Scanpst.*, it will be on the hard drive somewhere but there are a number of locations where it may be stored.

Phew, managed to fix the drive this morning by flashing the firmware. Have copied all files off and will now bin in favour of a more reliable drive and back this up!

Tried a caddy but no good. Will try USB but need an unusual cable as both ends are standard USB!

My mistake, I assumed it was a network hard drive. Best bet really is to connect it to one of the laptops and share the drive. Obviously the machine it is shared on needs to be powered up for other devices to see it but this is the same if you were to use a USB hub.
