Can you still get in if you have a cheese allergy?

and is it permissable/possible to stay at least 50ft from the Giant cheese board/effigies in order to avoid anasomething or other shock?

I use white specialized toupe saddles on the MTB's, spotted a trick used by a Dutch mechanic to get white bar tape clean, basically liberally douse the saddle or tape with Mr Sheen and then use a white cloth to take the muck of, works on White Specialized XC grips as well.
Only problem is I did it in the hall and inadvertently turned the floor into an ice rink so watch out.

One thing to note about the Specialized Command Post, is that if you cut the cable too short and need another one, (with the special ball end to fit the lever), you need to either pay £40+ to Specialized for a full lever kit or bodge it with a Gear cable. After paying £249 for one of these it is a bit of a shocker that one.

I used mine twice and the full head clamp started turning around the shaft, returned to Specialized who kindly re-glued it and upgraded the seals to the latest version.
Just put it back on yesterday so we will see how it goes.
It certainly goes up and down very well with no movement laterally or vertically in any position.

The Blue Areoplanes Reading Festival 1991, brought the tent down, literally.

Tow Waits Edinburgh Playhouse 2008 Magical!

Rem/10,000 Maniacs Hammersmith Odeon 1986?, rem popped back out after most of the crowd left to do an acoustic set with the lights up.

House of Love Edinburgh Small club 198? free tape at the door and a pint with Guy Chadwick afterwards.

Radiohead @ Paradiso Amsterdam 1997? not a big fan but teh sound quality at this gig was crystal clear well impressed.

Air @ Fruitmarket Glasgow, they brought the Funk and left the trip hop at home, top gig

Glastonbury 1989 1st Time, went as a lager lout came back a hippy, big shock to the parents.

Now did someone mention Megadog, that realy was something else, we didnae have stuff like that in Scotland so it was a bit of an eye opener going to the Rocket in North London for that, people were skinning up on the bar!

Just uploaded a video of Graeme and Lance Armstrong from the Paisley Ride to flckr.
Vid shot live from the bunch, Graeme on the right in yellow slightly on wrong side of the road, watch as the Flying Scot flies past the Texas Tornado all in glorious Scottish raincolour.
Bet the guy in the car didnt realise what was coming towards him.

Driving from Scotland to Glastonbury Festival in the ninties, we always knew we were close to Glastonbury when we passed the sign to a place called Bawdrip, always raised a laugh.
Kept meaning to stop on the way back up the road to liberate the sign, funnilly enough never remembering to do so.

Endura MT500 overshoes and a pair of sealskins for me this morning in glasgow, sure I rode by some ducks on Greta Western Road as well, managed to get to work with dry feet, an achievement in itself.
I used to just use the sealskins but the overshoes do help a lot, worth getting.

Huge fan of his early work, up to the River, left it all behind post Born in the USA. I liked the Tunnel of Love album and then the Seeger sessions kind of drew me back a bit.
Bought a ticket for the Hampden gig a few weeks back, not sure if I would go, but made the effort, approaching the stadium I could heear Bruce launch into badlands and that was it, hairs on the back of the head start standing up, involuntary reaction wasnt expecting that having refined my musicla tastes over the years. Nearly cried when he started singing "Spanish Johnny drove in from the underworld last night",wasnt expecting that yin. Best gig in years, couldnt stop singing, still remembered all the words from when I was a youngster, which was a surprise as well.
Got all the old albums out when I got home, parked the musical snobbery on the shelf for a bit, although when the big country 12" of wonderland hit the decks I realised I might have went too far..

Run the rings on Shimano M960 and M970 Chainsets as well as on the Single Speed. Removed the granny ring from both as well.
I have found them really good for climbing, seem to be able to spin a bit easier and use a higher gear as well.
Would have liked a 38t Ring for the singlespeed but only 44t available for Shimano 104 bcd cranks at the moment

That was excellent. Bit chaotic on the way out, and a bit hard going on the commute Singlespeed MTB though.Lance came acros really well and props to him for doing this.
Spoke to Mr Obree for a bt as well, he only had a 55t chainring on today, well stretched out superman style on the bike as well.
He was saying his track bike, one with the 68t ring, rides great on the road but hasnt performed well on the track, wished him the best for the Hour if he goes for it.
Told Lance to pick up a bottle of Buckie whilst he was in Paisley, dont think its banned by the UCI yet

If you have an XTR M960 you can get a 45t Rotor Q Ring to fit as oppossed to the standard 44t.

    http://www.velotechservices.co.uk sell them.

Been replacing my old XTR rings on a few bikes with these, really like the apparently smoother pedalling action, particularly uphills.
