I start 20 radiation treatment for it tomorrow, M-F for 4 weeks, back in July, night before I was due to fly out to ride the Maratona dles Dolomities, I had an issue with Urinary retention, ended up in hospital then spent a fortnight with a catheter,  subsequently had a series of scans and a biopsy to then be told I had locally advanced prostrate cancer, in two pelvis lymph nodes as well as prostrate, it was a bit of a shock to say the least, but looking forward to getting through the treatment, the Hot Flushes from the Hormone reducing pills/injections are somewhat interesting.

Used them a couple of years ago for a shoulder issue, wasn’t impressed by person working on me, got better treatment at the Physio dept at Maryhill Health Centre on the NHS.

Bought a bottle of the botanist islay gin, fav alcoholic drink of all time, roll,on Monday.
Anyway reached for the slimline only to be told by the woman in the offy that that wouldn’t do, it would have to be fentimans tonic water, very nice it was too but a bit pricey

If you suck the moisture out the barometer hole in the back with your mouth, creating a bit of a vacuum, you may find the elevation increasing significantly, I discovered this when I needed to clean the device during a ride when it had stopped recording elevation.

Aeroleathers in Hawick sell Levis and Lee Vintage as well as some others. Silvetto is also worth a look as they are a wee bit cheaper than Aero at the moment.

American hard gums are veggie, no gelatine in them, they don’t tend to actually be hard either.

As a heads up you can get the 1st gen cable from Specialized, but I recall it costs a small fortune, think it was either £25 for the cable alone or you had to buy it with a new lever for a lot more.
I had an issue with mine and phoned specialized at the time, after speaking to one of their techs I ended up just modding the head on a normal gear cable to fit it. I thought they were taking the mick with the cost of a replacement.

Dont sleep Xmas Eve, do somersaults under the covers with excitement to pass the time. Wait for faither to finish his swally and go to bed about 4am, sneak down the stairs only to find sister has beaten you to it,not only has she opened all her presents, shes also opened yours for you. Notice the tree is lying on its side, all the chocolate decorations have been eaten, and the dogs been sick all over the living room, happy days!

I come from Troon, great place to live, good schools and some good pubs, handy for road riding and theres a decent commute over Dundonald hill to Kilmarnock.
You can even MTB in both the Big Woods and the Wee Woods, albiet it aint Glentress.
Used to be the rule for locals was dont live anywhere in Ayrshire north of Troon, good chance of getting stabbed, i.e Irvine, south of Troon was okay but avoid the villages further inland than Minishant, you might not be seen or heard from again.

Dirty Disco is good on the road, I just switch btwn two sets of Disc wheels one with CX Tyres and one with 24mm Vittoria Open Pave Evo’s
Bike probably gets ridden more with Road Tyres than CX these days.

    Uncle, Bert Hunter, Flight Sergeant.
Another Rear Gunner, in a Lancaster, lasted for quite a while as he enlisted before the war.
Shot down/killed at Remagen near the end of the war.
My Gran hated the germans till the day she died for that, pity she never got to see the memorial, long overdue.

I run Racing Ralphs CX on Crest at 55psi, they are fine easy to fit, no issues, been running them for a few months, with just sealant and yellow tape on Crest.
Initially I had them on at 80 PSI, ran okay for a day, then exploded on a train journey, not a good one cleaning up a carriage covered in latex.
Guess the pressure needs to be in line with the rims specification.

Volcano is to dry for the throat, plus the bag system is wasteful, better with a Dutch Verdamper if its for medical purposes, or the Vriptech system.

The bike with the big Chainring was built for another go at the World hour record, but it didnt ride very well on the track when tested, so that was scrapped unfortunately.

Had the 1st edition of them, the arse wore out after about 4 muddy rides not impressed, particularly at the cost.
Heard the latest ones were better so bought a pair of them, the arse is holding up a bit better than the last pair but not entirely convinced that they are that good, a bit disappointing would be my analysis, but not sure of any better alternatives.

Shetlands to Wick to Edinburgh with Loganair, slower than a week in the jail, even the birds were flying faster.
Bit worrying when the pilot comes out and serves lunch.

The drop off of the cliff on take off at Wick was a bit scary in a prop as well.
