Sounds like someone was hoping for a dog.

We were going to call our youngest Digby, but we had a girl and called her Lassie

I ran the Manchester marathon last year, it was a very flat course, but it was still tough. 26 miles with little training will be hard going, unless you are naturally super fit. I’m running the Brighton marathon this year and have had a lot of niggly injuries but I think I’m good to go. Personally I wouldn’t run with only a 10k under my belt, it will hurt you.

I don’t wear hi-bis when running, I always wear black because it makes me look slimmer

As above really, Purnells, Simpsons, Lasan are all top notch, Purnells Bistro is a great place to eat, and it’s all half price on a Monday, Marco Pierre Whites is Ok, there’s a good Brazilian buffet called Rodizio Rico in The Cube, and La Truc is very good.

I done it about 3 years ago, it was tough but a good laugh. I don’t know if I could give any tips though, it’s just running up and down hills, thru mud/water/ice, and then the obstacles, which are pretty tough but good fun. If it’s below freezing it will be a bit bracing in the water, be prepared for serious ball shrinkage.

Put a sock over your sprouts, strip off, watering can of water to wash off the mud, towel to dry yourself, put warm clothes on, drive home.

I use Senheisser Adidas OCX 685i for running, good sound quality and a good fit, they were not cheap, but they work well for me.

I am currently using Paystream, they have been ok so far. I used to use Sterling Solutions, who I preferred, but was forced to change as they weren’t on my new agengies list.

I keep getting chalazions on my eyelid( like a cyst), and when they remove them by flipping your eyelid and going in with the scalpel it certainly has me twitching.

There are loads of curry houses within a mile or so of the NEC, I regularly frequent Rasa in Marston Green, which is about 1 mile away, or 1 stop away on the train. There are loads of curry houses on the Coventry Road, which is quite close. But if you want some amazing traditional Indian food then you must go to Lasan in the city centre, costs a few quid but well worth it.

I have a Cannondale Flash 29er, I am 5’11” and it’s a medium, I am usually in between medium and large on 26″. I think XL would be huge. The medium is just perfect for me.

I use cable cutters at work everyday, I have found Lindstrom cutters to be the best I’ve owned, better than knipex. They were quite expensive tho, but my latest pair have lasted me about 5 years and they are still cutting as well as when I purchased them

He’s returned the panels but snapped a couple of posts removing them, we don’t really get on anyway so I have no problem with never being civil again. If its not breaking any laws then its my 6ft going straight back up alongside then.
