Ultegra’s are awesome wheels, not touched them in 3 years and they’ve done lots of miles in the Alps and Yorkshire, summers and winters

I’m also looking at tow ball mounted racks, has any body got a Atera Strada dl it looks like a really good alternative to the Thule
Are the wheel mounted racks a lot better than the ones that hang by the top tube ?

we built a 3.6 w x 3.2 x 2.4 h garden office out of 4×2 and 4″ kingspan (roof walls and floor) last year and the materials came to £2000. The walls were 12mm ply with a breathable membrane. 6×2 roof with 18mm decking ply and green mineral felt. They hadn’t decided on an exterior cladding and still haven’t

Try a local tiler, but they may not want it for the same reason as the tile shops

    What pjm said

Hiring all the right kit might cost you nearly as much as a builder would charge you ?
like i said its not an easy job

    Shadow

If you don’t know how to do it then call a builder, because its not an easy job with out the right kit

Dont do the roof if you have already done the ceilings, add more to the ceilings but dont do the roof.

If it’s structure borne then you need to use thick rubber to try and isolate from one stucture to the other (like between a stud wall and ceiling)

    Shadow

Stud wall on the party wall not fixed to it in any way (fixed to your ceiling and floor) rockwool sound insulation and sound batt plasterboards is probably the cheapest way
Gyproc do specific sound wall systems but the prices can get silly

That just makes it go off to the right of the screen ?

Im also in the trade and i would have charged you no more than £150.

Tell him you want a break down of costs and if he wont do it give him 150 notes (with a witness) and tell him to sue you 😉
