Ive heard that it will cost me to park at dalby forest? hmmm anyone know where to park thats free and i can ride in, tight i know but when ur on a weeks biking trip in scotland the cost to park ur car at all the venues soon mounts up…

Can I just point out that Dalby is quite a long way from Scotland 🙂

I’m glad to see that a strict diet plan included Guinness (but I do hope that pint was had at home)

On the price, I agree £61 is a lot, but lets face it I’m happy to pay that for the chance to ride on closed roads. Also, if you tink about it £61 for a years incentive to train and stories to tell after ain’t bad, especially as a lot of us happily pay that for a new (and often un-needed) bike part

    🙂

    Thanks for comment s

bigG, I’ll give you rule 40 and 41, but not 45. The stem is flush with headset. Forks are 1″ threaded, so had to use an adaptor to fit a 1.1/8th stem.
Paintwork done by Woodrup in Leeds – great job 2

As for mudguards and low gearing, well I live in the north and my legs ain’t what they used to be 🙂

I’ve only ever met lovely Irish people when abroad, once they realise you, as a Brit English, have no ridiculous historic preconceptions of them. Warm, funny and intelligent people, but they’ve always started off as slightly aggressive, dismissive and/or a bit defensive towards us. Not surprising I suppose given this example.

Never felt any aggression or such as s Scot 🙂

Why are Irish jokes so simple?

So the English can understand them 🙂

I sustained similar injuries 7 weeks ago. I wish the chap best of luck with recovery. It’s a difficult recovery.

Surprised your typing if you did, no offence, but think you’re being a bit economical with the truth.

anyway, hope all heal as quick as possible

Should be more comfortable than the crappy alu bike I have at the moment

    What’s wrong with aluminium frames?

Absolutely nowt if you have a good one, but mine’s a shit (you get what you pay for) and is harsh as when on long rides. Steel will be more comfortable and it seemed better (not to mention cheaper) to reuse the frame I had.
