I have had the same problem. I am sening them off to TFtuned for a service and they said that they will add some extra seals to the MC unit to hopefully stop this (apparently a common issue with the MC units)

Always take the pads out, then use a plastic tyre lever to push the pistons back – bigger surface area so less pressure required and plastic so wont damage pistons.

Sounds like you’ve probably trapped the diaphram. If you’ve not damaged it just seating it should be ok, but if damaged you’ll need a new one.

[suck eggs] fill the resevoir full then roll the diaphram over the resevoir from one side rather than laying it straight down. This enusre that you seat it right and means no air is trapped under it.[/suck eggs]

It could be that a neighbour has a new wireless router. If this is on the same channel as yours then it could interfer with your signal (default tends to be 1).

Try changing the channel on the router and see if it improves.

There are some tools oput there on tinter web that you can use to see what routers are in range and what settings they have. Could use this tio find an unused channel that is as far from others as possible

That rooty corner had realy erroded the last time I was there and defo needed some work on it, but not sure filling it all in is the best, but it may well erode again to be fun (it seemed to me to be rain damage rather than riding). And sorry to hear that the logs have gone :(

The one thing i do, on top of the usual padding, is to use an old hub to hopefully stop the rear triangle from getting squashed, then it’s just hope. But I’ve never had a problem (but then twice is not really scientific)
