I’m the same height as you and I’ve got a medium which is perfect. Tried a large and it was far too big.

Ah just noticed a typo. Trying to compare 2.35 ultra soft to 2.6 soft. Ie is the extra size better than the softer rubber or the other way round.

I’ve got the same bike and I’ve changed to dbcoil. much better in every way. I tried everything with the monarch. I found to get it to feel good while going along it was rubbish for going down. Still not the most efficient bike but that’s not why I got a scout.
