Have you looked at the Rose Uncle Jimbo? 160F 165R 27.5

The way you can customize the thing is fab.

On the subject of updates. The Xbone seems to update a lot. As do games.

Maybe if you opt to leave it on all the time these can happen in the background but mine gets switched off. I don’t game all that much. It seems every time I turn it on I have to wait for it to update something before I can get playing. Its a little bit frustrating.

I think the new 1TB model has an improved controller. But the backwards compatibility is an update.

Membership is the same XBox Live whatever the machine.

500GB will fill up fast especially if you have more on there than games. However you can attach an external if you wish. Loads of threads on line about what you can fit on so pretty easy to weigh up.

I have never had Kinect but don’t play the games that would use it. No kids though.

Thanks iainc, Think the one I have seen is a 1.6 diesel, not sure which model. I think this one has 18 inch alloys. As I do some long trips it might not be the best option for noise and comfort. Might have to join the Focus crowd! Cheers.

Moreover, banning encryption gives criminals too much power.

That is a good point, so which way do we go? Like you said, it has implications beyond criminal activity.

Stupid idea anyway, how’s it going to work? Banning encrypted traffic? You can kiss goodbye to online banking, online shopping… it’s only the same principle.

And where does it end? I’m all for surveillance on people of interest, we need to combat all sorts of crime.

Blanket surveillance, banning encryption etc gives those in power too much power. I’m not convinced they won’t use it to their own advantage when it comes to politics and business. The opportunity for miss use is vast.

Also what kind of country are where we are recorded on CCTV a silly amount of times a day, all communications are monitored and all encryption is possibly going to be banned. While day to day it might make little difference to my life or yours (for the time being) when I do think about it, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I couldn’t give a toss if any of you wear a helmet or not.

If I see you on the ground after a crash all I need are your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle/Audi.

    Oh and your wallet.

I ride MTB’s but have road cycling friends. They like their spandex to complement their bikes. With this in mind I can’t even imagine your attire. I think we need to see the whole ensemble!

We are each entitled to our opinion

Agreed. But maybe keep the keyboard psychology out of it?

Although come to think if it I do remember a similar situation myself, but then I was 16.

Maybe your last experience of this kind of relationship was when you were 16. Fair play. Maybe you met the one a year later and it was happy ever after. Maybe you are single and don’t want a relationship. Who knows. It does sound like the voice of minimal experience though. Just my opinion of course.

It was actually 2 months into the relationship. The early stages of a relationship are often extremely intense, and I don’t know but the OP might have felt that he had finally met “the one”.

Bearing in mind those points I think it is perfectly normal to feel devastated if the relationship suddenly comes to an abrupt halt, specially if the devastated person feels there has been no acceptable/understandable explanation.

It certainly doesn’t suggest that the OP has some abnormal “emotional issues” ffs.

    My thoughts exactly, well said.

After reading the whole post and what you have had done and paid for, it sounds like something worth contesting. They are the only people messing with the connections and should make sure they are tight and the seals, if perished are replaced.

There’s a frustrated Canyon dispatch employee somewhere, wondering what the hell he’s done with his new Oakleys.

Don’t worry, he sent himself a couple of bikes.

I really feel for you OP. Been there with younger women and also women around the same age. It’s the shock of being dumped when you are thinking it’s going so well and the unanswered questions after the fact. It’s tough.

Obviously she wasn’t thinking the same way about you as you were about her so you are the one that has to adjust to the reality of the situation which will take a bit of time.

Just be good to yourself while things settle down, don’t drink too much etc and keep talking to mates or posting here. You WILL be fine.

Why would a generator be running on a site at night? Is your house detached? It’s not next door drilling a hole to the earths core by any chance?

i find that people act a bit nicer in general when armed police officers are around

You find? I am interested to learn more about your findings. Did you use science?

Edit. I’m sorry for being flippant but really! You find?!

arming the uk police would be a good thing…..in my eyes.

    Based on what?

You think a pistol would have made that situation any better?

Can I just mention that where you are in the UK will make a difference in what you can charge. MrSmith, I believe is in London? If so his rate is justified. If like me you are in Leeds/north of England it’s a different story.

As a new/unknown photographer who is getting her name out she might only get 2-300 per day.

I know plenty of freelance photographers working directly for clients (no agency involved) who have a base day rate of 300-1000 per day. It all depends on the client and what their images are worth to them. You have to be pretty savvy. Repeat work could mean a lower price, if the work is easy.

As MrSmith said she would be better off dealing with businesses directly. Way more lucrative.

Something else I would advise your daughter to do is to approach local commercial studios and see if they offer work experience or see if they need an assistant. It won’t pay much but it would give her a good insight into the way things work. She might even pick up some experience of lighting with flash. It’s one thing knowing how to use available light but to use flash effectively is a different thing all together.

Had that in an astra. Bought an air con cleaner which was a can you crack open in the car with the air con on full for 15 mins. It did help with the smell.

Also I ran it on hot for a while in the hope of killing the bugs that made it smell.

I now use air con on regular basis, hot in winter, cold in summer, just to stop it going stagnent. Seems to work.
