+ 1 For John’s route. It’s our default ride when we just fancy popping out. I’d love to hear of something else to mix things up a bit.

I always get knee/shin/elbow pads on for DH or when I know I’m going to be pushing it.. Also A Full face. For me it’s not worth the risk. I’m self employed so if I can avoid injury then it’s worth it.

For trail centers/XC I wear an open lid, knee and elbow. For the reasons above.

More than once I have come off (run out of talent) on wet roots or wet northshore/boardwalk stuff as slow speed and they have saved me from injury.

I lean towards pads that have hard elements inside them over the soft kind.

I would head to Wales. Not too far, a shed load of trail centers to make the most of (You can do some on the way to others). Plenty of natural rides too. Depends on what kind of riding you want of course.

Have you looked up the geo for both and compared? I guess that is the only way to get an idea until you sit on it.

To make it fit…short stem, shorter cranks?

It’s yours now anyway! So like you say no big deal if you can sell it for a profit. Just means your money is tied up while you do so.

I have never used them myself but recall other people on here using Bob Jacksons in Leeds. They do a good job apparently. Do a search with that name,I’m sure you will find some old threads.

I’ll take a closer look at the Sweeps then cheers.

I’ve got the 26 version, the Slants, 130-160mm version. Also from 18 Bikes, who are a great bike shop by the way. Excellent customer service.

The Slants are a cracking fork, they started off nice but once broken in were just buttery. No diving like the awful Fox CTD’s they replaced. I would happily buy X fusion again.

I have 160mm Pike RC’s (27.5) on another bike. Performance wise there really isn’t much in it. Well from my experience.

Had a creaky Zesty, went with a Hope one and its been fab. Only a couple of months in. Like the prospect of easily changing the bearings.

Sounds like new mech time, I’m guessing the lever helps to stop the clutch disengaging. Having had one before I can see how that would be the case, it seems to provide the necessary resistance. Keep the old one as a spare?

Even if I could tell you, I can pretty much guarantee that none of you would believe me.

Was it a super model that is going through a messy break up and doesn’t want the media attention?

I never thought I’d see anyone who wants to look like that **** from the gadget show.

My ex is a manager of a Waterstones branch. They had the **** from the gadget show in as a guest signing some drivel he was pedaling.

His request (demand) was that the manager (my ex) would approach him and the fans towards the end of the singing and say the event was now over. He would then protest and sign for another 20mins. The idea being he would look awesome and the staff, ****. ****.

PM-PM adapters would still allow this though.

True, maybe I have misunderstood the original question.

Edit, Ignore my ramblings I really have misunderstood!!

Adapters F&R on my 2015 eunduro.

Adapters allow different rotor sizes should you want to change so they are fine by me.

feed, it looks like this stuff below…I used to have some down. Really hard wearing. You can get thick and thin versions. The thick is worth the extra.

A friend of mine has just come back from a family in Austria. I can find out where exactly if you like. But, he went off a lot to ride. Loads of uplifts and riding similar to Manzine. The best bit there was an abundance of stuff for his 2 kids (6-10) to do in the mountains, most of it was free too.

We are thinking of going for our next riding holiday, it looks stunning and it sounds like the riding is spot on too.

Cheers arodgers. I looked on the Euro sites. The ones that posted to the UK wanted 240 euros for the pleasure. I’ll check out the UK stores as you have suggested.

I would buy a Giant Reign (and I have..). It’s a monster of a bike. Reign 2 complete bike is currently £1760 from UK Giant stores. Sell all the kit you don’t need, buy a CCDBCS for it, keep the Pikes it comes with, spend the leftover money on a trip to the Alps.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the £1760 Giant Reigns? Been having a Google but no luck, they all seem to be over 2K. Cheers.

Leave on a good note. It’s how they will remember you. Apart from that why do a shitty job? Shirley that can’t feel good regardless of leaving or not.

Thank you 40mpg, I will check that out.

dbukdbuk, Thanks for the reply. 5% of the selling price in store I thought but I had better check, they were not spcific.

You are right, I do need to check how the images will be used and it might be I grant them a licence for a run of so many prints and specific usage. I think an agreement will have to drawn up.

Do you grant a licence when you sell? How do you work it?

I shall have a look at your website. Cheers.

Edit…Looking now. Some very nice images!!

I took a mtb down on a trip to visit the perentals. Did Thetford which wasn’t great but OK. Parking is a fortune. Its so flat I won’t bother with a mtb again.

You might get more out of it on the roads/paths on your Macho. Can’t help with routes though I’m afraid.

aracer, I guess if you feel generally unhappy the little things are going to be a lot worse. It’s so hard to pick yourself up sometimes but much easier with the help of someone else.

Where are you based? I’m in Leeds. Free Sunday and if you want to ride and vent or just ride let me know. silascollins AT icloud DOT com

Try manual mode. Set your ISO to 100 and aperture to F8 or 11. Then adjust your shutter speed, the brighter it is the faster it will have to be. Play around and you will figure it out.

You should be able to get the results you want without a CP or ND filter.

Having said that CP will give you richer colours/darker blue sky/Better cloud definition. It will also go some way to removing reflections should you wish to do so.

ND filter will reduce the light going into the lens but I can’t see why would not be able to do this just using the camera settings.

Well yes it is not in spirit of the forum. How could it be stopped though? Also there could be enterprising individuals doing the same thing!

Has the buyer you mentioned broken any rules?

Hate to say it but you didn’t follow their instructions, what do you expect? It’s your job to get the keys to the collection company.

The collection person could spend ages asking all kinds of people if the keys are around but why should they? They have a system in place for a reason and they told you what that system is.

£250 is a lot of money and I can see you made an effort to get the matter sorted but you tried to do it on your terms. And unfortunately that was your mistake. Might have to suck it up.

OK, so the OP is happy. 🙂 Can anyone answer this. If I delete a game I have been playing from the 500GB HD does my game data go too?

Like BF4 for instance, played online and off line.
