Not me either. I have a strict pants only policy until Mid-afternoon, except for my nude day.

From this angle, the building looks flat,

It looks like a giant dropped an old Nokia.

The new chain is skipping? Usually you can have a couple of chains on a cassette before it wears out. Maybe he has trashed both. I would be replacing both. Really hard to tell much from that pic.

Sounds like it might be cavitated…when an internal seal within the shock allows the nitrogen to mix with the oil.

Had it on an RP23 BV on my Five. Service by Loco sorted it. £75 I believe. Was great after the service.

Oh and Sam…. If you post an image, Jamie will more than likely edit in Photoshop and re post with at least one extra bum.

School nights, maybe a beer or a glass of wine occasionally. Tend to stick to the earl grey or green tea. The other half will happily have two glasses of wine every night. I don’t see the point and hate that groggy feeling. It makes her pretty frisky so maybe it’s not such a bad thing.

I don’t go out on the booze every weekend but occasionally, when everyone gets together, I am up for a blow out. Binge drinker I guess.

    Don’t really worry about though.

I really don’t think there will be boots on the ground. No way the the US, UK, France etc want to get bogged down in a war in the Middle East. It would be bad news for everyone.

I would think no fly zone, surgical strikes, SAS here and there. Libya style. No doubt there will be an increase in civilian deaths and every doubt in who will end up in power when the FSA or one of their factions kill Assad. Probably an extended civil war after the power vacuum. Flippin mess.

Can’t you get the person you are buying it from to tax it and you add that to the cost of the van? That way you you won’t get F’ed in the A if you get pulled.

Endura Flyte for me. I have found it to be breathable, surprisingly so. In winter I only use a base layer and the jacket. I have found that combo keeps me warm enough but also dry on the inside. I think they are about £100 maybe a bit less.

I have found it to be really comfortable whilst riding. It has loads of pockets and under arm zips should you get too hot. I’m a sweaty bugger so have them open even when it’s cold. Personal opinion and all that but I have found the jacket will keep me dry on wet rides and warm enough (without a sweat fest) on really cold rides.

I’m all for drinking milk but on a ride? F that. Only ever have water in my bladder. After a ride I wash it out and shove in the freezer until next time. Not sure how long it would be before a milk bladder and tube would get pretty funky. If you need something more than water a bottle would be better.

Camped in Rockliffe last year. Great place. I thought Dalbeatie (red) was OK but not as much fun as say Kirroughtree. For me it just didn’t flow as well, more of a technical ride. Just depends on what you want. It was fun…the slab was interesting in the rain!

I can’t comment on the ones you have listed but will throw some more in the mix. I have Nukeproof knee pads. Like them a lot, comfortable on all but the hottest of days. Hard plastic cup to protect your knee but it just feels nice and not in the way. Have come off a couple of times and no doubt they work well. Didn’t slip, still in pretty good condition. Also sizing is spot on.

I have found them tricky to set up. Not sure I will find the right pressure to have every setting perfect. Climb I don’t care about as it is pretty much locked out.

To find a a pressure between a nice feeling on trail yet not too soft on Descend is tricky. I have been taking a shock pump out recently and trying out different pressures.

Adding air will make the fork poor on smaller bumps.

This is what I have found so far. I’m thinking oil is the next option to try.

I have never taken any air out of forks/shock. Isn’t Atmospheric pressure is 1 bar whether you are on the ground or at 30,000 ft?

Have done the bike box and bike bag thing. Less faff with a bag. Got one for £80 and it’s going strong after 2 years. My mates ripped first trip. You never know how rough they will be treated I suppose. I always add stiff card around the expensive bits. Just take a shock pump if you take air out.

    “Your oak floors are shite.”

I really hope you didn’t expand on that comment when you wrote in the book.

I also hope their floors were Pine or Walnut.

Edit…just for comedy value rather than your wood identification skills.

Aye £500 seems reasonable. Good kit for the money and looks in good condition. Only question is, how desirable is it?! Asking £500 you might have to be prepared to wait for a sale.

If you could get someone to collect for £430-£450 I think you would have done OK. I don’t like to split as I like a quick sale hate faffing with the post office but in this case you might be better off.
