Blue??! Don’t risk that aftermarket junk. Better you just flush your diskombobulator and fit the standard rekombobulatornator kit.

I would say yes, coming from someone who has lost a lot of aerobic fitness and also muscular in the last few months! While my general cardio fitness is getting better from riding regularly I feel lacking in strength. Core mainly. Couple of months in the gym and I know it will be right again. No scientific data from me! Just felt so much better when I was physically stronger, at the time I was doing was doing weights 2-3 times a week a long with an hour of cardio.

Synology ones as they seem more stable and seem to have a wider range of software that you can install to do different stuff.

I think this is something to consider. Regarding stability my WD has been spot on but if you read reviews on Amazon they are hit and miss. From a noise perspective it is silent…and that is something that would bug me. Software wise you are limited for the cloud features but I have found loads of free apps that will access it on my iPad/iPhone etc for use in the home. One thing that might sway your choice is read/write speeds and something worth researching.

I used to bleed them with a brake block in place of the rotor, now I just leave the wheel in place, rotor protected. Get much better results. 10 mins each end, leant from the video on the Avid site.

Sounds like the Eames for you! The one you linked to looks nice, out of stock though and I would want to read some reviews when buying a reproduction of a +£3k chair. They might use crappy leather etc. Have you checked out Made.com ? They can have some interesting furniture.

    some reviews!

Just looked at the details of the Synology DS214play , seems very similar to what I have. Difference is price., looks like it will cost almost £500 for a 4TB model. Mine was £260. From the research I did Synology do make some excellent kit.

I know nothing of the Synology you have referenced but my requirements were very similar. I bought a WD MyBook Live 4TB. I use it in a Raid configuration so it’s 2TB but that is enough for me. I can stream to DLNA TV’s also laptops and tablets in the house. Also, using the WDTV Live app I access the drive from anywhere. Watch movies, upload and download docs/photos/music etc. I have been putting it through it’s paces over the last few months and so far it has worked really well, love the way it acts as more of a personal cloud than just a NAS.

Barcelona chair is a good call, you get could a chair and ottoman for your budget. I really like Days Forum and Knoll arm chairs but for guitar playing arms are probably going to get in the way.

Edit: If you fancy something different you could check out Etsy or if you are anywhere near Leeds Eclectic Chair. The latter is really hit and miss but worth keeping an eye on, they have some gems.

I reckon z1ppy has hit the nail on the head, no tapered steerer. The 2013 Camber is tapered though. Might be worth checking out the Buy/Sell on Pink Bike. Lots of new frames pop up. I’m not sure who makes a 1 1/8 straight fork these days but your options would be limited. If you want to use your fork in a tapered head tube you can easily find a work around, but not the other way. Welcome to the forum anyway!

Simon at Locotuning’s done mine, and it’s made a big difference,i’ll always recommend him, give him a shout on Monday and he’ll talk you through your options.

    This.

Mine was serviced at the same time though. I wanted it tuned for a Five so was expecting to pay £50ish extra but spoke to Simon and he said he could do something to help it not blow through the mid stroke and it was only £10. I don’t know what he did but it worked. was a joy to ride after that.

Not horrible but just a bit dull, no Christmas cheer or Christmas angst or anything to distinguish it from an Aldi Christmas sound track.

Commencal Meta AM2 Suspension Bike 2013 on CRC and Fishface also have some nice bikes on sale around the same price. I also saw a Nukeproof Mega TR for around 2K on CRC. looks lovely! Right now you can get some great deals on the kind of bike you are after. Be quick tho.

my mate did some delivery work to a premier league fotballer’s house on the wirral– he had shag pile carpets(white)–liberally covered in dog shit throughout the pad– class….

Did your friend see a dog? I would wager he made his delivery the morning after a ‘party’.

STW at it’s worst, again. The OP asked a perfectly reasonable question – i.e. a safety question to which he did not know the answer – and he just gets mocked by the mob. I despair at the decline of this forum and I’m considering deleting my account.

Don’t delete your account, lots of banter on this thread. I like most thought the OP was going to use a gas heater and not an electric one.

If you posted a request like this in a more eloquent manner, explaining your reasons and goals for undertaking such a trip you might get a better response.

As your original post stands you come across like a bit of an idiot. Writing “and shit” after everything isn’t helping. You might not be an idiot in real life, you obviously have some get up and go about you and that is something that should be encouraged. However if you come onto a forum as a new user and ask for help, be aware that you might need to explain to people why they should help you.

Also would you care to explain why what you are hoping to do is more worthy of getting involved with child reach international? As it stands they have a much more convincing appeal.

I have a similar light to you, just having the light on the helmet feels heavy but something I have got used to, the battery pack on the helmet would be awful! Well for me at least! You might have a titanium neck! My battery lives in my camelbak, I always use one so it’s not a problem.

    Edit:

You can always run the cable and battery down to a jersey pocket? Makes taking the hat off more awkward but not much.

This is a better option in my opinion. Too much weight on your helmet does not feel nice.

Since getting a new bike that isn’t set up tubeless I have been wanting to go back. Cheapest stans conversion kit I can find is £45 from Merlin. It seems like a lot but it give you everything you need. You could go ghetto tubeless (google it). Cheaper but more faff.

If you check the Stans website it will tell you if your rims are compatible with their kits. Having gone down this route before I found it worked out a bit cheaper than buying the valves, strips and sealant separately.

I would always have something to read, but it would be in a cafe not a pub. Maybe the man in the pub just wants some quiet time and a beer?
