So sad. Will always have fond memories of watching him in GB as a kid. I know Bill Muray is the cool one now but I loved Egon!!

It sounds like he is stable and in a safe place. Hopefully the staff are keeping you informed too. Keep strong fella, I’m sure it has been a huge shock and will take time to process. Best of luck to all.

Genuinely thought “taking her up the Oxo tower was a euphemism when it was first mentioned…

Of course it is…has to be! I would rather just say OXO?! Before I ask her if I can F her in the A.

The information you give is entirely up to you.

    Only it isn’t.

There are so many posts regarding this. I have picked one at random. Just have a read.

    Hey, chvck.

Sorry if I came over as a dick, I’m not having a go at you personally or anything, just saying what I think. I don’t want to make bad forum vibes and stuff.

    Nope!

    Good!

    Why?

Well that is fair enough, you choose the services that make sense for your life. You are happy with Google and Facebook doing whatever they want with you data. In return you get to do whatever you need to do.

I like to think twice. I want to know what the trade off is for signing up to such a service. What I am trying to point out is that a lot of people sign up to a service not knowing the true implications.

Are you also of the school of thought that says “If I have done nothing wrong then I have nothing to hide”

Three hundred and fifty or so. I know them all personally and would happily make each and every one of them a cup of tea and then we’d have a good old natter.

You must have a big kettle.

I ditched FB after a couple of years, it’s a waste of time. If you can’t correspond with people that matter to you with out it then something is wrong.

They offer a service at a price, although you don’t pay any money the real cost is in the information you give them. Everything about you, what you do, what you say. The people you have contact with and what they do and say, the friends they have contact with……and so on.

If you think about it for a bit, it’s not a good thing.

    Cryptic thread.

I have no idea who the OP is referring to couldn’t care less. I have no idea if the OP is genuine, has a petty grudge or is a troll. Either way it is his problem. Surely it is up to the individual on a form to make up their own mind who they want to reply to and whether or not they think the person they are replying to is full of BS.

Unless you are going to call out this person my naming them OP, please just keep it to your self.

I thought about one but seemed like too much hassle. In the end just went for what they call a deep bath. It’s kind of a figure 8 shape and can hold two with the tap on the side. Perfect sex pond! Plus it is deep enough for me to test my scuba kit!

For most stuff it’s plenty. I can afford one bike so it has to do UK and bigger Alps/Spanish stuff so I opted for 150mm. Mine is a 26 inch bike so a 650b will be a tad different but 130mm on 650b sounds a very good option to me.

As above PSU or memory issue. All drivers/ BIOS up to date?

Could try removing graphics card or wireless card etc to see if one of those is causing a problem?

Only one super hero is capable of this….Seaman. Not to be confused with Aquaman.

They have broadband but no router? Can they not just ask their ISP to provide one? Are you sure they don’t already have one and instead of using ethernet cables they just have to make the computers capable of a wireless connection. Something like this for each.

    http://www.ebuyer.com/155641-tenda-wireless-n300-pci-adapter-w322p

It might not be the best, you can spend more. Also I have no idea if the the computers they have are compatible with this specific type of card. Or any card that is on the market now! The PC’s they have might be too old to update.

That is all I can think of….the rest is google!

My mates 2011 carbon rear end one is still working and my 2013 314 is still in one piece. Since I am the original buyer I’m not too worried about it snapping. Second hand would be a different matter.

I will third the WD Live or for a bit more £ and functionality the WD TV Live. Sometimes a bit slow if you have a lot of media on your NAS as it seems to ‘gather’ the content before you can access and stream it.

    Did you buy it then?

Just to throw my 2p in. I had the predecessor to this. It was a great camera but I found the images very noisy (shooting RAW). I wish I did some more research before getting it. Ended up selling. Not sure how this one compares but worth checking if you haven’t already.

I don’t mind it. At least I know a bit more about what what the poster is asking or posting about. For instance I might like camping out (tent content) but may know next to nothing or have little interest in talking about tents.

Urgh. Your current wheel set is light. Bit flexy but light! Sure… spend big money on Stans Crest if you have to however you are saving grams, if that. Remember you are upgrading a hack, spending £300 on wheels will not make you any faster.

A quick post just incase anyone else has the same problem. I have taken a sander to the floor and sure enough the varnish I put down had not taken to the stained surface, I should have left it for at least 24 hours.

While sanding it tonight the newest layers of varnish just flew off.

My plan is to sand down to the stain. Wipe down with white spirit and allow to dry. Then I will do a test patch of varnish (2-3 layers) If it works (fingernail test) out I will do the whole floor.

Feel a bit of a tw*t for not taking my time over it but weekend DIY and all that!

Thanks guys. Looks like I didn’t leave enough time for the stain to dry. I just found a thread where they say 24hrs before applying varnish.

I wasn’t sure if it was a case of not enough varnish layers to build up strength but I reckon you are right, the varnish is sitting on top of the stain. I will sand it back and do it right!!

Here’s a whole new headache coming up now

Hopefully not! you can download HP ePrint from the Android store. Looks like it’s free plus you can preview what you are going to print. Should work with your HP printer!

ahh I see, it might just be down to finding an app for your tablet that will give you a preview before you print. They way you are going about it now the app may just print what is on the screen and not the whole document.

Even if you have to pay a few pounds for one that gives you what you want it’s way cheaper than a laptop. I would be doing some reading up on apps and if nothing works then a cheap laptop might be your best bet.

Found on another forum and may help you.

If you’re paying for Gold already then it’s free, absolutely.

Nothing is free although MS want us to think it is. If you had access to online gaming plus downloads of older games with no subscription that would be ‘free’.

I didn’t want to but if you love something you have to set it free.

I did a poo once, 5-6 flushes over a whole day and it would’t go down and just backed up the bowl. I came to the conclusion it was self aware and would take its own path. A day later it flew the nest and hit the drains….was emotional for both of us.

All I’m saying is that it’s not free! Those games can be had for peanuts from CEX etc. I have XBL…. 12 months- 27-28 for 12 months if you shop about which is the price of a pint per month round here. Not a bad service generally unless you play BF4! More of a problem with EA but still.

    the free games every month

And all you have to do is pay for the service! Brilliant!
