Me and my better half are riding this year, so should be fun.

Rode last few years and nothing really technical but some nice natural terrain.

How is the shifting with a mix of eagle and XTR?

They mentioned shorter wheel base. I guess it brings the wheel under the rider more. Its all a compromise.

Try Specialized tyres with the grid casing. Currently running the Butcher and pretty happy so far. Pretty good balance of price, weight, protection and grip.
