I have one on mine, only problem is, the bit of chainstay closest to chainring is exposed and gets cut up there. I cured this by wrapping bike tape around this bit.

This is what i used for that.

Yes used with front mech and bash guard, just set mech stops so it doesn't move out into bash.

@andy…from the bars you say you were in you were not in the bigg market, that is the gate

    seanodav

Wouldnt bother with the bigg market, unless of course you like fighting. The quayside, the gate and or central station are your best bet.Jesmond which is about a mile outside of newcastle, is also very good. Cant go wrong if yor going out on the drink, lots to choose from. Only prob you might have is your dressed up mate, some will let him in some not.

Is the 2010 pitch available yet? anyone ordered and recieved one?

    seanodav

The 975 you paid was sale price, the comp was 1200 rrp. The 2010 model will also be cheaper than rrp when in the sale. Both the comp and pro were 2008 bikes at 2008 prices, they just continued to sell em off in 2009 at reduced rate.

As far as i know they now have better wheels, double and bash with chainguide. The pro is 200 more than previous model but that was 2008 price, so price dont seem to bad really. Reviews will be no diff to the older model as its the same apart from few upgrades.

    heres mine

@ Tim, if its the pitch on the bay, check that the small ding on the seatstay brace is not caused by coming into contact with the seat tube, mine was replaced under warranty for this, and i believe mine isnt the only one. If you look at the pic of the brace you can see paint missing right in the middle.
I may be wrong but dont think so.

I used this from wiggle, little bit more expensive but very easy to apply and you cant see it.

Put it back on the bike if you struggle closing the can, use the frame as a lever, also helps line the thread up correctly. Just make sure no muck drops in the can.

As per steves instructions in that case.

I use mine for everything, it certainly aint gonna win any races to the top, but its still more than capable of climbing without a chair lift 8O
Ive had med and small frame, the med was little more trouble on singletrack than the small is

Had both, sold the stumpy to buy the pitch, was the right move i believe imo. Pitch is way more fun but not as fast uphill as the stumpy, depends what you want it for.

Love mine, very confidence inspiring ride, mines also the new colour and much improved imo to the old colour.

Yeah we were the same, just make sure car is very tidy elswehere, im sure scratches are just general wear and tear. Car will be sold at auction to a dealer most likely who will repair stuff like that quite easily, im sure it will be fine. How big is the scratch?
