I had a fault on some 2009 55 rc3’s, they tried twice to fix the leak and failed, on the third time they were replaced for 2010 55rc3 ti’s which a worlds apart from the 2009 version.
All this was dealt with very well by Tony at merlin cycles and windwave.
    Cant grumble really

As said above, just the oil from the sponge and wiper seal with them being new, they do this when you do a wiper seal service if you put plenty on.

I’ve seen this yesterday and compared to my mech which is new, the spring feels very soft, was also a little play in the pivot compared to mine.

Ive got the 55 rc3 ti’s and they’re very nice forks, would think the 44’s are also as good!

Wouldnt think the seals should fail within 3 months myself.
Had a seal fail on moco cart on a pike before and it was replaced no problem on warranty

They are wire bead and quite heavy (not sure of weight) but very good tyres for winter, and well worth £17.99 imho

For bigger areas use a caulking board instead of filling knives.

    seanodav

Use interior pollyfilla only, use flexible filling knives and you cant go wrong. fill slightly proud then sand flat
