Doing a bit of trail building, found buried rock and pulled it up to find them.
Rock was replaced when three fish took photo.

Still fail to see how a bird would have been able to get where the eggs were.
They appeared to be very sealed in under there.

I’m running 2010 55 rc3 ti’s, same fork as far as im aware?
My weight is about 10.5 stone kitted up, im running no coil preload or air at all.
To be honest spring is maybe just slightly to heavy for me, but only just as ive had full travel from them often on biggish drops.
Had no trouble at all from them, they just work.
They do however take a little while to break in, they just seem to get better and better over a few month.
    Hth sean.

If there is play when you lift the saddle, it may only be shock bushes and not linkage bearings? which are easy to do yourself

@northwind, when they sold out of bronze there was only blue left.
bronze was the pro, blue was the comp.

Must admit i quite like the new colour

Not sure but maybe an oil leak from damper into lowers blew the seal?
now the seal is back in do they bottom out before full travel?

    seanodav

Which side did the seal blow, was it damper or spring side?

    seanodav

If they’re air forks it will be a seal inside releasing air into lowers, could do with a new seal imo

Speak to locotuning he will help you out

Most of the ‘sanitizing’ has been done to stop the trails turning into big wide muddy scars on the landscape, which is becoming the case in places like jakes-doghouse, due to the usual riding around muddy spots.
The rocks and gravel have been put down to armour the muddy area and drainage ditches dug.
Cant see how this is wrong myself? would understand if they had built northshore over them but rocks and gravel? which WILL blend in over few weeks.
    All inmho of course

I had a 203 flame fitted a little while back on the front, caused real bad fork judder. Had a 180 on the rear which seemed ok but ive removed them from the bike now, couldnt stand the vibration on the front any longer

my 2009 55s failed lots, i wouldnt if i were you. 2010 however different altogether.
They will change them for newer version if they do fail though so may be worth it if you have spare fork

It’s very easy changing cables, if you dont already have cutters here is a cheap pair which are very good.

From what im aware they put a small red painted dot on the crown of the forks they had ‘fixed’ these forks were supposed to be ok and free from issue.
The 55’s i had from 2009 had a red dot and they failed from new, the oil leaked from the hi-lo dial on the bottom, this however may not of been the same issue they had ‘fixed’
I may be wrong but this is what i have read somewhere
