They are obliged to invest the money as prudently as possible, even if it means profiting from the sale of arms. I’m cool with that. The trouble is, this is after they have successfully canvassed millions upon millions in donations due to their heavily publicised charitable mission to make the world a better place.
It’s that hypocrisy that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

Surely it’s not impossible to help the world without being dragged down into its mess?

Hi st colin, how are you doing?

So I take each thought and work on it individually.

What do you mean by work on it? Can you describe this process a little more? Do you find it helps?

    Out of edit-time update:
Popup does not appear every time.
When pop up does appear, it is when the banner at the top of the home page displays an Android Virus Scan advert.
The popup appears 7/8ths of the way through loading the page, pausing the page load. After dismissing the popup, the banner at the top loads immediately (showing the virus scan ad). This banner ad then changes, cycling through new ads for other products.
Haven’t managed to catch the banner and find its link, each new ad has a new link…

    Ey up Cougar,
Sorry for the confusion, I was downgrading (official build) as a result of other unrelated issues, I just thought I’d add some additional information.
Thanks for the assistance mind, may give that a go tonight.

Block popups is ticked in Chrome, I haven’t ticked it since the reflash – unsure what the default behaviour is or whether this is synced to my account. Closing the settings page and refreshing Singletrack and it appeared again!

    3/4 size anything.

I’d go for electric if there’s no preference, I found that metal strings were miles easier than Nylon at that age – I didn’t have the finger strength necessary to comfortably fret a note with nylon for a few years. Also, headphones. Make sure the strings get changed if it’s regularly played.

95% build our own – the majority of content available does not suit our needs.
Once you’ve had some practice, it only takes a few minutes to make a quality, fully parametric model which can be used again and again.
Make sure every family you make is as parametric as possible from the start – you’ll avoid having to make similar families again and again.

Perhaps something with KDE, like Kubuntu? It’s easily configured to be more like a tablet with big icons etc, with the advantage of an Ubuntu ‘backbone’ & support?
As for kids games, Python with Numpy should get them started ;)

    Yes and no.
as others have said, low ping is usually good and puts you at an advantage. However, COD allegedly has a lag compensation thing that tries to balance this factor out.
So, you’re at the mercy of algorithms really. Years ago, low ping was the advantage, you’d see where players used to be but your game would register a kill: the enemy wouldn’t know what killed them!

    >My argument is that you have no way of knowing how likely it is,
No, I do. The fact the whole concept was dreamt up millions of years after the earth was formed by goat-herders, and (and we’ve been here before as well) there is not one single iota of evidence to support the notion and for that reason, being a semi-educated adult capable of logic, I can safety dismiss the notion.

So, you still have no way of knowing how likely it is.

if the universe is finite.. the absence of [god] defies the second law of thermodynamics

    Why’s that then?

Lots of different ways to script it. I’d be using bash command line in Linux for most of it, though. Wouldn’t know where to start with windows scripting.

Teach me! I’ve got a linux VM all sync’d up and ready for this kinda stuff.

The merging isn’t a problem at all, just the investigation and subsequent conversion bit that I’m not really sure where to start on.

Excel was just to get some attention ;)

Preston: Craig Slee Jailed for Putting Taliban Beheadings on Facebook

Craig Slee, 32, of Preston, was jailed at Preston Crown Court for five years for four offences under the 2006 Terrorism Act, including encouraging terrorism and dissemination of terrorist publications.

Det Chief Supet Tony Mole: “The power of the Internet and social networking sites is vast and extends worldwide, so while Slee may not have been planning any sort of attack, he could easily have influenced someone else with the propaganda he was uploading.”

Same material, same media, same method of sharing, same potential audience. The difference is in intent. Does intent really have sod all to do with anything when the video is the core message?
