Not a mechanic but used to do most of the spannering on my own cars. Have changed cam belts on Cavaliers, Escorts and such but not on modern cars, what I used to do is split the old cam belt along its length so you can fit the new one with half the old one in place so nothing slips. Hope that helps and good luck

Word of advice from Other half if buying suspender belts then the ones in high street shops / department stores aren’t very good and more likely to put people off as they have plastic clips. What you need is at least a 6 strap belt with metal clips this way the stockings will stay where they should be and won’t slip apparently.
The above links all have descent belts

    Hope that helps 😀

and yes a lucky boy indeed

Hold ups ok but proper stockings are best. RHT’s or Fully Fashioned are best.

Got one, top bike. I’m 5’7 and on a medium. Alloy frame, bike is around 13Kg with dropper but fast. Lefty fork is superb, you don’t notice it whilst riding. Pop lock is really easy to use. Only thing I did was upgrade the crappy Avids to Deores. DH excellent unless it gets super steep then the aggressive head angle shows but really its a XC race bike. Not sure what they are worth these days but if you do get it I’m sure you will be happy.

As has been said the guy doesn’t understand propagation of radio waves. In short the more base stations / mast there are then the lower the transmitted power the lower the power then less heating effect on the body. If you want more info look at ICNIRP site http://www.icnirp.org/en/applications/base-stations/index.html

Also those that work within the industry are probably at far higher risk as they work close to the transmitters but not heard of anyone having health problems from that sector.
Most hospitals have them on the roofs, if it was causing that kind of problem then it would also be affecting the medical equipment I would have thought but it doesn’t seem to.

FWIW learnt to dive 18 years ago in the military, BSAC is the way to go. PADI ( Pay And Dive In ) is ok but just a commercial model, every step of training cost more.
BSAC has more thorough training and is centred around the club, pay your club fees and BSAC membership then get further train free.

Dived around the world and never had a problem with BSAC not being recognised, in fact as has been said further up more respect is given usually.

Some of the best diving can be found around the British coast, NW Scotland, IoM, and Ireland have some amazing sea life and soft corals. St Abbs is good for laying on your back next to the rock face and watching the Guillemots dive bombing for fish, and if you like the idea of wrecks then Scapa Flow in Orkney is a must.

Something to think about is open circuit SCUBA or closed circuit rebreathers, If I was starting out again I would probably go the rebreather route as its like learning to dive all over again and the kit is expensive, but rebreathers allow you to get a lot closer to the sea life.

Get yourself a ANT+ dongle, speed and cadence sensor, HR monitor also helps and get on Zwift. Properly addictive. Use mine most days. Did 1H 40 mins on my rollers with Zwift the other day. Shattered by the end.

SMS server or gateway server could have been down, or if the people that received them had no coverage or the HLR ( Home Location Register ) hadn’t updated then it wouldn’t know where the phone is to send the message. Any number of possible issues unfortunately

I’d suggest rest. Have torn one side running and pulled the other snowboarding and couldn’t even lift my foot up a kerb. The torn one took a good 8-10 months before I could do anything due to not resting. The pulled Abductor took a month to recover but I did rest.

    Hope it heals quickly

Ouch, hope the guy is ok.

BTW if there is ever need to call emergency services then you don’t need coverage from your own provider just as long as there is coverage from one of them. Easiest way is dial 112 and you should get through to emergency services

What have you had to eat prior to riding and do you eat anything whilst riding? sounds like blood sugar dropping.

+1 for the Aqua2go GD70 Portable Cleaner from Amazon. As far as I can tell its the same as the Mobi one just a different colour but a lot cheaper. Been happy with mine, powerful enough to get the dirt off but not too powerful to get into bearings. Can get 2 bikes out of one tankful. Once its washed dry off with a towel, sorted.

RWD cars with wide, low-profile tyres and no weight over the driving wheels = hopeless

Dunno I managed to get my 5 series with 265/35/18 summer tyres up winnats pass in the peaks back in December 2010 when we had the proper snow just before the Christmas. Quite funny managing to crawl past a stuck Freelander.

Yes sort of suffer from HH as I had one created when I had an op for Achalasia back in 93 ( oesophagus has stopped working )they rolled the bottom of the oesophagus inside out to allow food to pass through, means I have open passage from mouth to stomach and have been on Omeprazole since 93. The biggest issue I have is I cannot eat without drinking fluids as its this that pushes the food down, started at 23 now 44 and will be like this for the rest of my life.
Surgery is usually key hole now so you should be ok

As above for fit but once you have got one clean the inside of mask with a small amount of toothpaste to remove the coating on the glass or the mask will keep fogging up.

As above unless you like riding in rivers and letting the silt grind your drive train and brakes to nothing.

Indoor climbing is probably your best bet.
I do both sport climbing and climb masts for work and I always feel more comfortable when sport climbing. Traversing around a lattice tower double landyarding 50m up always concentrates the mind.

Chip try going on an Advanced Motorist course, they teach how to drive at the speed limit but obey the rules and teach you Observation, this is key to making progress. I can sit with cruise control on and use all 3 lanes progressively without having to slow or speed up massively, sometimes deselect cruise for 20 seconds to match speed but nothing more.
With Observation and matching speed to traffic flow you can keep left Except when overtaking.

I drive a lot for work and it does become a bind when you are doing what should by keeping left Except when overtaking and have to move from 1st lane to 3rd lane just to overtake. I once got stuck behind a middle lane hogger whilst towing a trailer, idiot in middle lane doing 45-50 I’m legally allowed to do 60 but can’t overtake as not allowed in outside lane.
Also 2am deserted motorway why stay in middle lane as this is very dangerous.
