Hey I was having similar symptoms recently. Including lying on the floor after footy saying I felt terrible.

I really should of go and got blood test, but didnt and I moved on to a lower GI diet. Ie porridge in the morning eating wholewheat food etc .

But most importantly I stopped drinking all energy drinks / energy foods. To be honest I've always known (since about 18, 30 now) that I've had problems controlling my blood sugar. I just dont think my body can cope which such huge quantities of carbohydrates in one go.

Have you been drinking alot of energy drinks recent ?

"over took him and immediately turned left"

Probably the most annoying thing that can happen to you on a bike short of been run over.

    Or possibly

"overtook and immediately stopped to queue for traffic"

Im going to guess if its a rail conference they might have people from all over the country from the train operators.

"What's so special about Coventry (apologies to it's inhabitants)? "

They have choosen Coventry as it is near the middle of the country and it some way easier to get than Bham as there is less traffic. But there are still road/ rail and air ling (bham international is nt far away)

"and mf you are kidding yourself if you think its to do with music its about advertising, filling newspapers with celeb gossip rather than news, selling heat magazine, calendars and cds to the gullible as cowell seeks to extend his monopoly over the music charts with his bland tedious dross "

Generally the performers on the X factor what 3 things.
    1. To Preform
    2. To Earn Money
    3. To be Famous

Generally the managers on the X factor what 1 thing
    1. To Earn Money

Musicians in General want 3 things
    1. To Preform
    2. To Earn Money
    3. To be Famous

Musicians Managers in general want 1 thing
    1. To Earn Money

Whats the difference ? Kimbers you kidding your self if you think some how other artists are any different.

Personally I cant really see whats wrong with X factor it uses "approximately" the same system of judges as other similar opinion based contests ie dancing, ice skating gymnastics etc etc Although the choice of judges is obviously pretty debatable.

Basically its a singing contest and generally the winners have been able to sing ie Leonna Lewis etc

kimbers I think your missing mastiles_fanylion point he's saying what else would Leonna Lewis have done to get into the record industry. Not what should the people at home do.

At least X factor is generally promoting people with a talent rather than Take That / Boy Zone ie young blokes with very little musical talent and interest and a lot of interest in screaming young women.

""Since when did you not need to be fit to ride downhill?"

I understand your point, but you still need to be more fit to ride up AND down than just riding down.

Biking won't become a family sport/activity with mass participation (like skiing) until these barriers are broken. When they do break – it could explode commercially. It could be very exciting and I hope to see it in my lifetime. "

I can what your saying buzz light year, but where are these blue route downhills ?

Wouldnt they be roads ? Why would people feel the need to go off road if they just want to gently roll down a massive hill enjoying the views ? They might get all dirty from the mud.

Im quite happy to believe in places like the alps in the summer people + bikes will be lifted to the stop of the mountain and they roll down the mountain roads.

Maybe with a bit of pedaling at the bottom.

I've been told its not a good idea to ask until you've been offered the job.

If it not really likely they are going to try and do you over by offering you a really low wage. It probably more likely they have some kind of salary scale and can only offer you that wage.

I've been born, lived and worked in many of those northern towns mentioned and none compare to the time I spent around the east end of london , the areas of Poplar and then Barking. (god I hope I never have to go back to Poplar – do they know what a tree or blade of grass is)

Have to agree with Fubar somewhat. Admittedly I've only live in Lichfield (although went to school in Walsall) Reading and London. Was a student in Reading and lived in several areas new town, earley and whitley.

Whitley is supposed to be the worst area of reading and pretty ruff which is partly true, but to be honest I'd much rather live there than Battersea. Obviously it depends where you live I lived north of clapham junction (york road/falcon road junction) but parts of battersea are serious pants. My girlfriend got broken into a guy came in her room while she was sleeping and stole her handbag !

But then you get plenty of people saying its a good area lots of culture, plenty going on and best of all its up and coming.

Which translates as loads of rubbish, watch your self and the area is not going to get any better for at least 50 years.

I cant help but feel theres alot of people living in london in denial. Oh I've moved here got a job have to keep up apperances oh yes its a nice area up and coming !

Impressive. I put on 2lbs training for a HM.

I cant believe anyone could put on weight training for a half marathon.

Done a couple myself and cant help but lose weight which really isnt what I want to do. Lose power for both footy and cycling and my arms end up looking even skinnier.

You all seemed to love Bonnie Greer but I thought she was terrible why did she get bogged in the argument about whether there is a large section of the aboriginal population living in this country or not this played right into Nick Griffins hands and made her look completely stupid.

This argument can go either way depending on which current historical theories are in the ascendancy and there really no way of tell without DNA testing every living person and extracting as much DNA from as many corpses as you can dig up.

Also surely its not the point if defining people by race is what the BNP do why is she trying to do it too.

I could see it would be better to get the 8GB in the long term as there might be programs that use that much memory in the future.

I normally find a slowish computer with lots of memory can run modern programs, abut slowly. Where as a slightly faster computer with little memory cant.

I think final question might be more aimed at the ladies on this forum, but in response to the remarks about memory the answer is it depends !

More memory will obviously be of use if your opening lots of memory dependant program and trying to mulitask between them.

Fast memory will help improve the speed of individual task. Like if you want to use the computer for playing 3D games that dont require more than 4GB then the DDR3 1333 would be better.

I have never used kids or disabled parking spaces and I dont mind walking a long way, in fact I usually prefer it as it makes parking easier.

But it has to be said (like first class rail caridges) sometimes who ever is responsible gets the percentages wrong.

When its a supermarket car park and there loads and loads of spare spaces it isnt a problem. But I think people get the hump whens there are 3 or 4 empty disabled/child spaces and no normal spaces that are empty.

Peter I can see what you mean, for instance on my bike I like the brake point to almost be instant and I dont like the lever to move that much between off and fully on.

But that because Im using my fingers/hands ! and they are very precise and sensitive in comparison to my feet. Im not a monkey, well not completely.

The system would be ok if I was just moving my ankle but I having to move my whole leg. Where do you have you heel in the Citroen BX is it on the floor ?

No but I did try an automatic and pressed the brake instead of the non existent clutch on first roundabout I encountered, luckily no one was behind me !

well surely the obvious answer would be somewhere near the M1, woburn sands / chicksands, or somewhere near the M40, aston hill / chilterns.

Or cant you shower in watford ?

History is all about analysing data sources now a days. Even at GCSE, there is very little need to know much history but a great need to deal with sources and analyse them.

Which has its good and bad points. I suppose as said learning to critically analyse sources is probably more useful in the long term particularly if your job has nothing to do with the past.

But frankly I enjoy learning a little bit of history from lots of different time periods rather than analysing to death the effect the seed drill had on villages in rural wiltshire in the 1700s.
