    ‘incorporating invaluable feedback’

So no-one asked for water during testing?

Add a dab of grease to hold the washer on the nipple.

Walking about the older parts of the town – Hinterdorf is great if you like old alpine buildings. Watch out for the johnny cabs though.

Torx disc brake bolts fit squorx perfectly but need the edge filing down to get through the nipple hole. I use pliers with some tape round the jaws to hold the spokes and just put the caliper bolt in an electric drill to get things started.

Also, nearby hotel recommendations for that Foo Fighters gig please. Ideally with parking by the sounds of it.

I’m 100% sure the carpal tunnel compression was worse with drop bars. However it was power tools that put it into a permanent issue that needed operations.

I’ve also been diagnosed with trigger finger, RH thumb was worst /  locked and a cortisone injection two weeks ago has massively improved it.

I had an FXC same as NickC’s above. It cracked 3 times and I couldn’t be bothered sending it away for months to the U.S.A. for a second time so threw it in the recycling skip.

I’ve found faster rebound and higher compression damping to be beneficial with air forks. Keeps them in the ‘softer’ zone nearer the sag point where the air is less compressed. As the fork uses travel the air compresses and the fork ramps up / feels harder, particularly if its rammed with tokens.

On a similar note I’ve used a new SRAM 11 spd chain with new Linkglide cassette and it worked absolutely fine but is really noisy when pedalling, to the point where I couldnt leave it on, bought a shimano chain and the noise was gone.

Ive looked at Army desert boots a few times. Quite a few if them are insulated though for sone reason, and also use the term Tactical / airsoft in the uses.

Some on the edge of Cannock Chase in Shugborough. They are great, better than the Groot tree.

Fill old inner tubes with the oil, then throw into a tree.

I remember AP a few years ago on the grass turns at top of Les Gets (?) going visibly faster than anyone, utterly amazing before he’d even got onto the dirt.

Im sure BK even moaned at Amoury Pierron when AP bet him last year or the year before.

Thumb etc could be trigger finger. Not directly related to Carpal Tunnel issues but I assume I’ve had so many knocks and injuries to my hands it’s just another thing to sort.
Had both hands operated on last year, it sucks but the ‘pins and needles’ (which had turned into full numbness and pain and I thought it was chest / heart getting worse for years esp. riding bikes and using keyboard) has thankfully gone away. Tried lots of fixes / alleviation but getting the operations solved it immediately.

Currently trying highest strength Voltarol to stop thumbs and fingers locking up.

Kinetic’s own brand bearings are as good as Enduro, great knowledge and service aswell.

Paint brush (1 inch) as mentioned above is the best thing for getting into suspension nooks and crannies. Bit of muc off / fairy and a low pressure hose off.

Got the frame rotating with the post in a vice and then left it upside down with half a can of GT85 down the seat tube.
Even had the pleasure of a rounded Shimano crank pinch bolt to deal with after that.

    Random thread resurrection.

Anyway, any tips on getting a post out thats stuck in a carbon frame, does WD40 work with carbon?
I was just going to put an old saddle on and whack it with a big hammer.

I’ve just gone for a set of DT EX1700 so thats 350 C/L. I’ve been running 240’s for 5 years or so and only just done a bearing swap, not had to touch the wheels (XM 1501) apart from a rim swap and a few spokes. Pro 4’s bearings / Pawls lasted me 18 months tops. Was tempted by Pro 5’s & Fortus SC but my DTs have been faultless so gone with some more.

I’ve borrowed a friends, its good for smaller stuff 4 inch or so but it kept cutting out due to overheating on larger stuff. Some more careful use and practise may get you through thicker stuff but yes, still a Silky for me.

What is the view (from those who have had industry dealings with) of CycleSolutions?
They are our provider and I’ve had direct and via LBS from them (work for an NHS Trust with 10,000 empoyees). They do/did a 10% discount if using them direct.

I use the NKPRF HRZN SDDL and do like it but noticed the clamp bolt from my oneup dropper was digging into the saddle so cut the bolt down, giving mo flexin’. Might be worth checking under the saddle for a wear hole and cutting a bolt down accordingly.

I have the Cube sub-brand Venec on my Ebike and I like that aswell.

Still having Jackson Goldstone is marketing gold.
DH WC round winner, contender for every podium & title, Hardline winner, Whip off champ, Canadian, young, media savvy. Way more international appeal than the 50-01 kruw. I suspect Minnars none-wages went to keep Jackson.

Just the rubber hose works great for presta and nothing to constrict the airflow like track pump heads can do.
