line up the rear limit screws by eye by aligning the jockey wheels and top/bottom cogs WITOUT the chain on. The is some movemnt in the upper jockey but you can make small tweaks later. pull cbale through and give it a good tug to seat the housings before tightening cable bolt.

Fronts are a pain. Start by guesstimating the right height and getign the cage parrallel, it may swing round abit when tightenign up, makiggn it un- parrallelel.

Yes its the extra length, if you cant get used to it a shorter stem may help.

Mines only gone down once. well it went dont twice but simultaneously. Used nomal ickle pump to pump it up, went down again and then pumped it up with bike standing up with hole at bottom and it sealed, and it was dead cold.

I was getting a lot of thorn punctures since moving and being able to ride to my local trails along BWs/ towpaths. For about 6 monthsnow I have used 819 rims with rimstrips and normal tyres or proper USTs. Only had it go down once when it was really below freezing and it pumped up on second try and stayed up.

I use heavy tyres and still put 40psi in. I think it is smoother but itís a minor bonus.

TJ is once again talking utter shite, but hes dead clever so I must be wrong.

washing up liquid on the insid eof the rimstrip might help it contract? ie- less friction?
