After a crackin ride this morning. I’m going to keep it, its an awesome bike to ride. I’ll probably keep it until I break it and buy a full sus next year when money isn’t so tight. Thanks for the opinions

Haha she doesn’t usually mind what I spend our money on. But she would have something to say if I spent 2k without talking about it.

I still love the bike but fancy going back to full sus. Still not 100% I know it will have dropped in value but it’s still a ti bike!

If I was only going to get £500 I wouldn’t bother. I paid £900 for the frame alone and everything else was brand new.

I think its a great start. Its a bit long at 8mins and if it was me i would point the camera a little bit higher or mount it lower so to see more of the trail ahead.

How do u mod it to push up? I’ve had a good look at it but can’t see how to change what way it pushes.

I was really hoping not to have to use a front tensioner as I prefer the look. Bit sad I know.

I’ve tried to get it to work with the tensioner I’ve got but can’t get it to do what I need. Do u think the zinger tensioner would work?

    Thanks for all the responces.
Ive had a look at it and im putting it down to the tensioner (superstar one that pushes the chain up) causing a lack of chain wrap. Does anyone know if the so called heavy duty tensioners on superstar will work?

Its a push down tensioner. Does that mean i need to take more links out?

What does that mean? It feels like its jumping up and down a gear.

Ive had plenty falls. I dont think having my legs shaved would be as easy as having a bath and cleaning the dirt out of my cuts with an scrubbing brush.

What’s the actual reason for you to shave your legs?

The panel next to you window that says vtr is plastic, it just clips on and it is common for them to fall off under normal conditions. I worked for citroen for years and would not recommend using the rack as it is fitted. Roof bars are not to expensive or best of all take the wheels off and put it in the boot.

Thanks for the advice its a whole new world compared to mtb and it doesn’t help that im impatient. I do like the look of the giant! just hope the person will ship it.

That good! I don’t have a clue about road bikes. I’ve been looking 2nd hand for a while but most things that look good are just out of my reach. May be looking a while

I found that when i tried to bleed “by the book” it just wouldnt work! I worked out that when the pistons are fully pushed back the fluid would not enter the cylinder to push the piston. What i did was re fitted the pads and put it back on the mount over the disc. After a few pumps i found that i could bleed them on the bike no problem because the piston is pushed out a little. I also found that this gives a responsive lever than when they were brand new. If you try this tho you may want to fit some old pads in case you get fluid on them.

    Good luck
