The conditions were perfect for the QECP dig day today. Great turn out, about 11 guys, thanks to everyone that help out got loads done. You guys are going to love what we have done 🙂

Last night with Superfli, Smiff and others was the best ride of the year so far! Did get muddy, Trails where dry or frozen, good times get out there before it rains people!
2850ft of climbing in 15.4 miles great fun 😀

Isn’t there a bunch of stuff as you come into Verwood from Ringwood? at the bottom/top of the hill.

I guess where we’d differ in opinion is that i wouldn’t say that putting an 8 foot double in the middle of a trail where you had nothing to do with original build and maintenance which flowed really well irrespective of the standard and pace at which you ride it

Work both ways we had a local trail that had a great double in it really added to the flow when you hit it just right. Then about 3 years ago in a summer hols some kids come in and used the soil for a table top which is Crap, Its off line and sends you up in the air. Flow has now gone.

My point is A GOOD double and really add to the flow of a trail.

if you can make a 5 foot gap on a table you can do the same on a 5 foot table that’s been turned into a double

Before the site was offical all the jumps and berms had logs in them. Now its offical the FC does not let you use logs in jumps or to fill out berms but you can uses them to shore up the backs.

Don’t rule out soil it can be cheaper than wood and is easy to re shape and change the lay out.

Also Paul if you have a foam pit people will travel a bit further to ride your Skate park.

Are you willing to do the right thing and ban micro-scooters?

Sounds great but micro-scooters will bring a large turnout and they tend to lead on to riding boards or bmx too.

What part of the country are you thinking about because in the south rent on somewhere big enough is an issue. Also one of your main clients will be kids so somewhere near a large population or a train station would be good.
