From the vid I couldn’t really tell what the tracks were like. All I could see was Bit of the DH trails, bit of the XC trails and a bit of fireroad.

Is it really an amazing spec? Aluminium frame,Fox float 34 front and float x rear, X0 brakes and drivetrain.
I’m sure this is an awsome bike but I can understand why people go for custom. Four grand for the Works is just crazy money.

Agree the spec is rubbish compared to the YT Industries Capra Pro Which is a bit cheaper!!

    Bit relevant: http://www.qecptrailcollective.co.uk/2014/03/red-trail-night-dig/
QECP trail team keeping the trail going thought the winter 🙂
Worked on a new end to the red trail to make the steps run out much easier and a cool new 180 berm. Also drained all the puddles near the end.

P.S What a turn out for a Wednesday evening. We will be doing another one in couple of weekend to get the New section open.

scottfitz – Nice stack where was that? Did that hurt, looks painful!

it was on the first bit, drop over the roots, it didn’t hurt really, some how from there I got in to the tuck and roll. The second crash on that run was bigger it happened on the next drop bit. Ended up about 5m of track upside down in a bush 😉

Bit more speed in the fire road drop, most of the incidents I saw were due to people not hitting it fast enough, and bogging down in the sand.

That bit was fine with a bit of speed.
And yes inside/inside was much quicker.

Apparently the organisers have invested in new timing gear… the best in the world right now…

Yep they used them for the COD endure races they held.

5 years time, after we’ve all replaced 26 with 27.5, we’ll be told 27.5 is no longer supported and actually, 26 was the right thing all along..

£48 associate membership is just for rogate
£71 Full membership is for Rogate, tidworth, aston hill, tigate and maybe one day Stoughton(Don’t hold you breath)

Yes there is a good mix of trail, walk/have a look at them befor you ride them, some have features that are NOT rollable but most have chicken lines.

A day pass is £5 so give a go first, As a summery
Advanced trail they have about 3
    intermediate about 4
    beginner about 2/3

There is a race there this Sunday, there is a big turn out from the QECP race team (About 8 of us) Come down, check it out and say hi if you see me (Green HT).

I race round 1, Sign-on was late opening, practice was late starting.
But you have to ride the loop once for practice which took just over an hour. Practice started at around 10 but we did start the loop till 11.30 so we missed the worst of the weather and didn’t ‘cool down’ to much between practice and the race.

See my report from round 1:

What else do you want to know?

Fat Albert? Very under-rated tyre and cheap at on-one. Good on the front. Not tried it on rear. +1 Last summer I ran them front and rear, they were great. Still go the rear on with mud tyre up front. if it works at QECP in the winter then it should work anywhere 😉

All the DH trails tend to be drier than the XC ones.
