STW is great, grown men and women arguing the toss about what happened.
The guy in the car has issues, drove too close to a bike, cyclist shouted, driver lost his rag (possibly had an underlying problem that we are not aware of), cyclist shouts back, bit of funny dancing, drives off, all this due to shit cycling infrastructure and idiot driver.
Driver is a tosser, cyclist could have spoken better back (but was quite shook up). The end.

At the moment the plan is for 5 stages, thanks to the new timing system!

There is less uphill in stages than last year and more downhill.

Selling out in 1 1/2 hours is mental!

Wouldn’t it be lovely if they could be adopted as official trails, even if they have to be ‘black’ graded to deter those who would be out of their depth…

The day/night and the enduro will sell out as they are seen to be fun and manageable. The dh doesn’t as it’s not seen the same way.
BTW all the fun riders rode stages 1 & 2 in the light, slowest first too.

2 runs, sometime GP do 3 runs but the numbers and track length at qecp have meant it has always been 2 runs.

Agree I can see how you can have a age cat for men and women separate but have a men’s HT cat and NO women’s HT cat sounds odd. Let me know what the email says because another lady just asked the same question.

Must admit I’m tempted to enter this as it’s fairly local but my HT is a 29er XC bike, kinda worried I’d ruin it!
My mate is racing on his Solaris not that there very XC but it is a 29er 😉

Headdown and a fatbike would be great fun! I think we all ready have one coming 😉

If I was to compare the track to the Day & night enduro stages I would say easier than 1 & 2 and Harder than 3 & 4.

Francie was flying been load of the locals boys. I remember when she did here first race a couple of years ago on a bike she borrowed from her brother 😉 He was at the BDS at Fort William this weekend finishing 9th in Expert! Not bad for a local.

Don’t the sound of that! How about a race at a different local venue in autumn/ winter (In the day)?

I know its a shameless plug so I will do it twice!!

Cheers for the comments guys. It’s a difficult line, when is hard to hard. We do have options, like fun cat not doing stage 2.
