On Thursday I stopped and let a couple of horses past. I said a cheery ‘Morning!’ and was told off as the woman’s horse was a bit jumpy when people speak loudly.

I came up behind another later and passed wide and slow. The woman on it’s back told me off for not shouting up.

I said ‘There’s no pleasing some folk’ and she ranted on for a full 5 minutes about how dangerous I was.

When she stopped for air I pointed out that she had the words “Pass Wide and Slow” on the back of her jacket; I was only foloowing orders.

If your pet is that twitchy it’s not fit to be out in the real world it should be kept away from the public.

    Or in a burger.

I tried a ‘warehouse deal’ from Amazon on PS VR. Got it for £280 slightly used.

Struggled to find any game that was good enough to warrant the outlay and ended up sending it back for a refund.

When the games catch up it will be awesome. Until then…

I think any reporter who describes this as a “headbutt” should have someone push them with their head and then really headbutt them for comparison and education purposes

If you honestly think that, you may have had a few good blows to the head yourself.

That was the disappointment of Prometheus.

Beautifully made, ravishing visually, but a muddle headed, fairly pointless story.

Who am I going to chose? I would vote for the candidate most likely to beat the tories even if that would mean holding my nose and voting lib dem

There’s nothing like voting with your hatred.

You aren’t standing for anything; just against one thing.

It would make more sense if you voted for Labour because you believed in it against all common sense. It’s how UKIP made great strides.

Jay Kay still an absolute tool despite be supposedly sober these days (I have my doubt)

I can believe he is. That’s why he’s so boring. He must get his personality out of a bottle.

Last night was funny; the first and last episode of the series were funny; they need more segments with all 3 together cocking about.

    That’s where the entertainment is.

If you have kids Formby has lots to offer.

Such as passive ganj smoking, lots of clashing loud music, foul mouthed scouse scallies yelling at each other and the daily festival of litter.

A lovely place utterly ruined by the scumbags who go and throw crap all over it.

I’ve seen loads of them in Belgium; very popular over there.

I wouldn’t think it would be much cop somewhere hilly.

She really is a class act.

But you could tell that from her behaviour.

Nope, mine was fine. Silent, effective.

Didn’t even make that squishy noise that the RP23 did when the climb settig was engaged.

Sounds like it may need some attention.

Superstar are better known for this.

Uberbike have been fine for me.

My fave pad is Goodridge, but they are getting hard to get hold of now.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this was an astroturf on behalf of SS, but I am a cynic

    It’ll be close.

Ham will shade it in Qualifying, but the race could go either way.

Tbh, the Bluto is a bit twangy at full tilt

It is, but so are the tyres!

I’ve put a Bluto on my Fatboy; it’s added a couple of pounds to the front but it’s worth it. It keeps thing under control when it gets rough.

“Company X are willing to pay me £y so why won’t you?”

“We don’t think you’re worth it. Bye.”

Careful when painting yourself into a corner. They may call your bluff.

If you are worth it, move. That’s how to get a pay increase. But it’s a risk.

    What’s important to you?

They are already paying him and he can walk to the pits from his house.

    Sorted.

It’ll be nice to see him back. He might even have sobered up from his last ‘last’ race.

    It is as you say.

It is made clear when you buy it, though.

that it said ‘not in stock, expected delivery 10-12 days’ and that we changed the model 2 days after ordering. Both are lies.

Then go somewhere else more respectable.

Wasn’t it Monaco that Honda were going to be bringing out their new engine spec?

Yep, a 2.2 twin turbo V6. It’s just the only place they can run it is in the Indy 500!

As others had. None of whom lost it on the straight bits.

Ricciardo would be a good bet. His name sounds italian. Or maybe Paul Di Resta?

I was never that struck on the original Ghost in Michelle; I don’t have high hopes for the whiteface version.

Guardians 2 is out by the end of this month. I’ll watch that.

There’s a few trailers around for The Last Jedi. I’m surprised I haven’t seen threads about it.

As a percentage of turnover, they make very little – typically 2% or less. Far less then Supermarkets, who are the leaders on cutting margins.

A small percentage doesn’t stop something being a whopping amount of money.

Supermarkets generally take 5%. Unlike most big food suppliers who try to run at 10%.

While squeezing their suppliers at <2%.

And yet Tesco is seen to be evil…

last day of one of the best events on the sporting golf calender

I have a golf course at the end of my garden. The action I see there is not enough to keep my attention, despite the silly trousers.

Why not hide it on BBC4 or Sky to be found by those who really want to watch it?

The 5 has come along in the last few years, the newer 190bhp twin power motor is a cut above the older 520d.

The newer 530d engine is a class above the older one.

So get an E class Merc, they have a bigger boot. :D

I was hoping Kraken rum was reduced too so I went for a look last night.

They’ve taken it off the shelves! Disaster!

Sorry to be sensible on a comedy thread, but…

It looks like a nice bike. Pay the £25; if you get a spare then you’re up on the deal.

Did you chip at the price at all when you bought it? Maybe the seller thinks you’ve had enough off him.

Just passed 2 kids helping their Dad with lambing. Great sight and they will probably learn more than a week at school.

It is the Easter holidays so not really that outrageous.

You have kids either become a teacher…

    Will that make holidays cheaper?

Sadly those parents who do take their kids somewhere educational…

There’s nothing a school likes better than a self righteous parent saying their child should be let off for a week because they are going somewhere worthy.

“My holiday has more value than yours…”

There are no cheap freehubs for it. It requires a specific Formula model around £25

    Gosh, that’s cheap.

This is like watching a wasp land on a thistle. Someone’s getting stung and it doesn’t matter who.

    ScottChegg

he should argue that the holiday companys are ripping us off

Supply vs. demand. And if your holiday is that much cheaper you can pay the £60?

Instead of dragging around the courts in a righteous manner.

That portrait; who is it? I don’t recognise anyone from the labour party at all.

Angela Rayner (Shadow something secretary) was on BBC breakfast this morning. What a horror she was. At the end of her puff piece she was asked if Ken Livingston should be kicked out for being anti-semetic etc. and she had a real rant about how she was being ambushed.

The nice Charle Stayt said it was one minute and 15 seconds at the end of her bluster to ask a Labour question.

She then went on to say if he was found guilty he should be kicked out.

It was helpfully pointed out that he had already been found guilty.

    Hopeless, all of them.

    in terms of protection etc

What protection do you believe an estate agent will provide.

We sold a house after probate. Had an EA come round and give a valuation for probate. While we were cleaning it out a neighbour came round and asked if it was for sale, as her daughter fancied it. Shook hands on the price the EA gave.

Solicitor for the will engaged an associate for the conveyancing.

    No EA fees required. Smashing.

If it’s on the market with the EA you are scuppered.

That eBay Elgrand is the worst advert I’ve ever seen.

Shows signs of light use! That and one door is stoved in!

    No-one’s.
