I can't claim to be pedantic in the face of an expert in the art.

mastiles – not quite correct. I seem to recall the last time that the same game was on both BBc and ITV. So twice as much than is strictly necessary. Without Engerland playing they wouldn't waste the airtime.

So that's a fact. Does that qualify me to have an opinion?

So the Irish have been knocked out. It's not as though they were likely to win the World Cup is it?

If England had been knocked out there would be less wendyball on teh box next year. Which can only be a good thing.

The Manics had a song called Tsunami, and then in 2004….

    Oooh, spooky.

I was at Chill Factor in Manc. I was having a lesson at 11, but the instructor said we'd start 2 minutes late due to the silence. Fine by me.

Then 2 stupid bints talked all the way through it at the tops of their voices. Cretins.

Showing respect shouldn't be compulsory, it should be part of your humanity. If you haven't got that there's something missing from you as a person.

juan – coz pink is for gayers, innit?

There is pink, and then there is PINK!

I did see a neon orange P7 with neon rims in Sunset in Cardiff. Eyewatering.

    Not always they won't.

An Insolvancy Practioner sounds like the way into bankrupcy. There are options to explore before completely disconnecting yourself from all financial services. But if you want to go bankrupt, it's a way to do it, I suppose.

There is no reason not to get real advice from someone trained in the subject. Rather than cyclists :-)

It wouldn't be a Rush, would it?

If the batteries kippered, a new one will be easy to source. Use the same connector and stick it on a new one.

Sometimes the lens gets milky. Remove, wipe it clean and reseal it with heat resistant glue.

You didn't think to mention any action but bankrupcy; hence you aren't fit to offer advice. The abuse just underlines it.

Speak to your credit card folks if your struggling. Make an agreement to pay it off as you can afford. If you can prove real hardship they will suspend any interest. This will appear on your credit score, though.

The CAB will help with the legalities. All these dodgy companies can offer is the same legal avenues that CAB can. Except they will charge you for it. If you want to pay, you can't be that skint.

Suggesting Bankrupcy is the most knuckleheaded response so far.

That will take much longer to shake off than a few grands debt.

I think she's a very strange woman. I can't understand why she's checking the spelling of a note of condolence, and not just the sentiment. She must be a school teacher.

GB will now get them done by a secretary, and just sign them. Maybe inserting a few mistakes for authenticity.

    Good result.

I got mine for a fiver from Fleabay. Digital, but it even came with batteries.
I use it for work in front of customers so easy to read is a must.

That Session 77 looks all kinds of wrong.

    Loads and loads.

Head up towards Ashworth Valley and up on t'Moors. Rooley Moor, Scout Moor, over the back and all the way to Lee Quarry if the fancy takes you.

There's not much South toward Manchester, but you are on the edge of the Pennines if you try.

If you have car insurance with Legal Protection cover with it, use it. The cover is not always just limited to car accidents.

I used mine for a door opening incident like Karinofnine above. I got a real solicitor who worked for a fee that was covered, not a slice of the award like most ambulance chasers.

    I'd go for bigger too.

My lad got a 16 when he was 4 and he's now far to big for it. HIs knees are around his ears and the seatpost won't go any higher. He's having to wait for his birthday for the next big leap into 20" territory with gears etc with the Beinn

He was also off the scale size-wise and still grows like a weed. If Edward is that big, he's likely to stay bigger and soon overtake his bike.

The Original Giant Trance weighed 7.5lb and that was a 100mm XC frame!

3.5 – 4.0 KG for a 150mm heavy duty frame is pretty good. My 06 Enduro had a DHX coil on it, with a Ti spring. There was nothing in it weight wise with the air shock, but performance was much improved.

The Alpine looks tremendous, and I'd love a go on one to see how it compares to my 5.

There used to be a similar farmer around here. He used to threaten people with shooting while holding a shotgun under his arm.

He did it to a group of bikers once to often. One was a firearms rozzer who had him in the back of a van within 30 minutes, and he was sent down for it.

    Bingo.

I'd video him; the more irate he gets, the better the footage.

Running a floating 203mm rotor with Chris King hubs is also a very tight fit on Fox 36's. As is a 203mm Floater on QR15 with CK hubs.

The anodising has been rubbed off with a bit of mud on both. I can live with it.

Some women are like monkeys. They won't let go of one branch until they've got hold of the next. They would be better off without any bloke for a long period, but only feel they have worth as a mans accessory.

OP has a strange view, she has no friends because she was part of a couple which makes me feel that moses is Girl G.

I've got 15mm Talas 150mm on mine which is a brilliant fork. Not heavy, but long and plenty stiff enough.

Not cheap though, unless Mojo get some more in the clearance section

So long as it doesn't lose it's way and just wobble on without conclusion like Lost, I'll keep watching.

It's not like there's much else on the box at the moment.

I've had QR15 150mm Talas on my Orange for about a year and I really like them. The Maxle Revs on my other bike have had to go back twice and I've now fallen out with them.

I'll stick to Fox, and at a pinch, Magura's.

Shock pressures will depend on your weight. Spesh website has the usual charts. Adjustability is limited, so if it suits you you'll be OK.

If the shock slider is black, these wore desperately quickly. I went through 3 before that nice Mr Flooks put a heavy duty sliverish one on. This lasted well.

I did get rid and got a DHX5 Air, which was a better shock all round. They appear on eBay occasionally and are well worth a punt.

A new broom is required at RM. Unions prefer things to be left as they are.

How can a company which makes huge profits be described as "broken"

Because they should be delivering (Ha!) a service, rather than being a money making exercise. It is still virtually a monopoly and it shows.

From the outside it looks like neither the Posties on the streets nor the suits in the head office give two poos what they are there for.

Exactly. If the letters rub off, who's goign to know how much cash you've splashed?

Saying they will scuff anyway is a rubbish arguement. Why wash, you'll only get dirty again?

There was a new one on with Wall-E on the DVD about a magicians rabbit.

Very good; nice to see they haven't lost their touch with shorts.
