Of course he's on his way out. There's an election coming.

They're cheaper than V-Brakes; what's not to like?

I've got the 2009 150 Talas and it isn't as stiff as the Pike. It's a much better tracking fork than the 140mm Talas QR it replaced.

The Fox is over a pound lighter than the Pike, though. So what's your priority?

But you mention shifter in the OP, so I'll just naff off now.

CRC have them, for only £4 more, with all the other bits. You will need a specific shifter, too.

    Not that light.

If weigh is a concern, get something else. It's not what they are for.

Do we have to have the same thread every week?

    It was rubbish/it was great.

If you like it, watch it.

If you don't, don't. And don't feel the need to share that you don't.

I tried yesterday and it was a disaster. Slush was awful to ride on on Rooley and ended up giving up and cutting short.

I'll wait a few more days before trying again.

If you are that sensitive about the weight, get a Ti spring. Very close to DHX Air weight, with coil feel.

    Smashing.

    I'mnotgetting any ATM though:(

    Then get some.

    Go forwards, not back.

    Yes.

It can be remedied by a Fox DHX 5.

CHB my mate (who has a steam engine) says that big coal is for engines, the small stuff is for your house.

Otherwise it gets blown up the chimney and sets peoples washing on fire.

If you are on that side of the pond, something from a US/Canada manufacturer? Cove or Santa Cruz?

    Bony old skank.

    I used the BETD version.

It works. You could have it next week.

    You decide

Is that it? I was at least expecting flames with the doom mongering.

    I still won't mind you.

Vanillas by a mile. Especially if you can wangle the QR15 versions.

Being stuck underground for many hours in semi-darkness, with no aircon nor water must have been hell on Earth.

Eurotunnel sending trains in without rescuing the stuck ones is nothing short of ridiculous.

I forgot; it doesn't affect me, I don't live in London.

I think the 'workers' got backed into that by the Union and will be well relieved it's been put off.

    12 days? Crazy

Cock must be a swear word. It's bleeped out of Top Gear reruns on Dave when James May says it.

Hub at Glentress have ex-hire Genesis IO ID for £499. You might as well at least try one out for that much.

    That's not a SeaCat, it's a Stena HSS.

    Sheesh.

There is an 'Italian psychiatrist' who thinks she's guilty, so that's all right.

I'll ask my mate who is an Alfa Romeo mechanic; his opinion must be equally as valid.

Hmm, a desperately plain girl slices her mate up in kinky sex games. And you lot go 'phwoar'.

    Bizarre.

I got the MT500 PTFE jacket, which is the same mebrane. It's breathable, but by crikey it's hot. I just wear a merino base under it and I'm fine. I am a sweaty chuffer though

Bluray, I-Player, great games, reliable and only £250 quid.

PP – Good advice above. Let the negative out and up they popped. I reset teh pressures and went for a spin and they are back to how they should be again.

If they have another floppy moment I'll strip them down, in the meantime I'll leave well alone.

    Thanks for the help.

    Nope.

New 2010 model has an extra bolt and it looks rock solid. Just got one myself today. Very nice. I'll be right out on it when it stops raining!

Hayes have always been cheap. Not when they first come out, but soon after.

Hopes are always good; you can't go wrong with a set. CRC just had the 10% weekend, you could have got a bargin then!

If you are concerned about price, go On One. If you want an off the peg bike the Orange is unbeatable.

I'd go with what fits you best, or which colour you prefer.

Is the top (green) bit on the second map open yet? Or is this were all the work is in progress?

Haven't been since the summer, but might be tempted back for some new bits.

    I watched it.

    I thought it was funny.
