So he did a burnout, its hardly worth international attention and a prime minister calling him a dickhead is it. He's an F1 driver out in his merc, caught by the police and righfully fined but FFS a bit of perspective required!

Better to get some good advice, try and get a good independant advisor to review your personal circumstances.

6 or 7 % is pretty common with a contribution from your employer as well hopefully. You can put in as much as you want to usually, even all of your salary if you wish! It does come off of gross salary which is a plus. Annuities were absolutely shocking lately and probably still are, so to getting a pension from them wasnt that atractive, but the market will change, and as said above you need to balance heavily investing in a pension with what you need cash for now. Bear in mind that money will be locked away for a while.

What makes a pension very attractive for investing in is when an employer matches your investment up to a certain level. For example one of my employer matched every 1% you put in with 1.5% up to a max of 9%. So for 6% of your gross salary you were getting 15% put into a fund! If you contributed nothing you would only get half of that 6% in your hand as take home pay if you are a higher tax payer. Which made it a no brainer.

Doesn't help you but yes there were many deaths not that long ago with a milk producer adding Melamine to milk, I am not sure but it may have been milk powder or a milk product that was effected. Adding Melimine artifically enhance the results that milk gives for protein concentration which masks a poorer grade milk.

Unfortunately for the consumers it is toxic and many deaths ensued, many of which were children.

They found one of the culprits and executed them, they dont mess about the Chinese.

Is the sky talk and broadbad comparable to the BT type broadband and internet phone?

    Is sky internet via satellite?

The states seem to have plenty of things – chocolate covered salty pretzels, Reeses peanut butter chocolate cups, Hershey chocolate kisses which taste like someone had puked them up, grits.

oh, and that large urn of boiled testicles that Charlie and Ewan had to eat on the long way round eeeeww!

I found the folding advantages way to weak especially in the sidewalls, they didnt last a season. However the wire beaded ones are a much better, robust tyre

I would have taken you up on that offer this morning Tony mate.

Well I went up to the dental centre emergency centre. After pacing up and down the waiting room (literally) for 15 mins the nice Dentist lady had a good look around and said it had to some out. I didn't hesitate at the advice. After about 10 injections it was still throbbing and I thought to myself "this is going to hurt".

    By jings I was right

Halfway through the extraction she said we might have to use anti biotics to get it calmed down before extraction was possible at all because it was so infected and was so painful to attempt extract. So I just said get it out, and tried to think of some far away place. So she did, she had three or four goes at getting it loose before it broke free (it was one of the big molars at the back). That was by far the most painful experience ever, but worth it. Currently pain free, we will see what it's like when the injections wear off. At the risk of sounding like a jessy during the extraction I could feel my whole body stiffening up like a board it was that bad.

On the plus side when I wandered out it was like I was on the best drugs ever, it must have been the adrenalin kicking in during the pain, it took about 30 minutes before I was back on planet earth.

But pain free now whoo hooooo!!!

Mabie used to be just like Drum back in the day before the 7stanes covered it all in gravel

It also used to be a bog in the winter, and that was before it had the traffic that it does now.

My mid week work flat is in Falkirk and it aint that bad, the only pain is when you get onto the train and suffer the snobs from Edinburgh or Glasgow (mind you I'm from Dundee and my main home is Dumfries so what do I know).

There are plenty holes in the central belt but plenty nice spots as well.

You will pay for staying in the nicer parts such as linlithgow, Dunblane etc. But if you are looking for a base from which to travel and bike then there is plenty to choose from – Falkirk, Stirling etc.

I just had an Alpha combi gas boiler fitted 35KW model. It was fitted by a personal friend who has his own business fitting boilers and I took his recommendation. I have found it to be very quiet, ramps up to match demand and very simple to set up. Its wireless controller is very programmable so so far so good.

Interestingly my friend rates them above Worcester. He has a fair amount of warranty issues with Worcester on build quality, swarf in lines etc.

Why do Chemists have it.. To see to people like us?

Its used to sanitise surfaces from microbiological contamination thats why chemists have it. It also acts as a mild degreasant which is handy to use as a non toxic cleaner albiet a flammable one

    It's propanol. Propan-2-ol to be precise. C3H8O.

Since it has 3 carbon atoms, rather than 2 for ethanol, or 1 for methanol, it has a higher boiling point and is less volatile.

To be more precise its an isomer of propanol, CH3CHOHCH3, versus the linear n-propanol which is CH3CH2CHOH

And dont drink it, it might kill you.

Dont try to trick it, it has test questions built in to assess the candidates continuity of answers. Don't ponder on the questions too long just answer them truthfully and as best you can. A lot of the questions will seem very weird but it is not a personality test more a working relationships and working style assessment.

They are useful tools and can be amazingly accurate.

Employer HR dept will use it as part of the assessment for guidance and will not usually be pivotal unless you and another candidate are difficult to separate.

I think 6 degrees is pushing it on general working conditions.

Not sure the HSE would get involved? Plenty people working in unheated environments e.g. out door workers. But they are interested in the provision of a safe working environment. So if your work entails working without PPE (gloves for example) to do intricate tasks you might have a case if you find that hands and fingers get excessively cold you could increase the chances of injuring yourself or getting work related health issues.

I reckon its a bit of a grey area for HSE, i would certainly say its not good practice. You certainly entitled to be provided with work clothing to caryy out your work in such an environment, and you are not exactly the most motivated employee if your freezing your nuts off so its in the employers best interests to make you more comfortable.
