Hibike do electric full suss, is that what your getting ?

Hibike is a big German online retailer. Like chainreaction but with an even worse website

Haibike are a German bike brand with an increasing focus on ebikes and electronic suspension control.

Throat spray plus happy pills turn a TEE into quite an enjoyable experience. I recall an irrationally attractive nurse but she could easily have been a figment of my imagination.

Zip failed on mine after a couple of years of hard use. I’d buy another if they improved the zip.

Hope Hoop stans are the ultimate cannock Chase performance upgrade. Be careful though, I tried them in my local woods and very nearly killed myself – like a Ferrari in a supermarket car park.

After a good period, the redirects started again last week. It’s the usual culprits : Goodgame empire, loveoo etc

I guess I’ll mooch over to another site until you get it fixed again.

    Hi Sam,

Is Switzerland EU or non-EU for the purposes of this kickstarter? (obviously it’s non-EU however often it’s grouped with EU for postage purposes)

    Cheers

It sounds like you have got through this before. With that experience, you’ll get through again. Lorazepam is an excellent drug to take on those infrequent occasions where the worry starts to affect your ability to function. A good nights sleep is essential to keep the brain functioning in order to adjust the root cause.

6 months last year. 4 months off the year before. Hard to start working again after so long out of the rat race.

If they’re quoting the 2m trail width rule at you then they are almost certainly German since no such rule exists anywhere in Switzerland. Swiss walkers are typically very friendly and open to sharing the trails. Zermatt attracts mostly foreign tourists (in my 14 years of experience)

Sorry- spoke too soon (unless you changed something)

3 quick fire redirects within a couple of minutes from the main page. Loveoo, game of war fire age and dragon city mobile.

Just browsed for 30 minutes without any redirects.

For the last week or so the site’s been pretty much unusable on my iOS mobile devices here in Switzerland. Last night it was still redirecting so it seems like you’ve switched off the offender in the interim.

    Good luck getting it resolved.

I actually gave up surfing the site yesterday as it was so frequently opening the App Store. iPad running chrome.

I’ve ridden in a few resort areas in CH/AT. The winter walking paths are the place to be. Sledge runs are also ok. Pistes are too dangerous and depending on conditions, there is surprisingly little grip available.

Only ever encountered positive attitudes and (a lot of ) attention.

Yes, no problems at all using the KMC 10 speed link. Been running it ever since I posted this thread originally!

Currently at 1200m. 1 hours ride can get me up to 2000m. The hike-a-bike up to 2800m might take me a bit more than an hour but I reckon I’ll be ok.

I looked at SPOTs a while back and the reliability was what put me off. There would be nothing worse than family seeing the signal disappear and assuming the worst. I found a lot of horror stories via google

The Garmin needs a phone signal as far as I’m aware. Good for the trail behind the Nationwide in Swindon but less good for more remote locations.

6 months of use including several weeks of big mountain riding. No guides installed and never dropped a chain. Broke the shifter lever fixation but repaired with glue. Mech clicking is annoying but can be fixed by adjusting the clutch and securing with loctite ( has a tendency to tighten up with riding). Ceramic GXP BB still quiet and smooth. Switch between a 32 and 30 ring (29er) depending on the terrain

1 year ago, I had a stroke and as a result, I’ve not driven or drunk alcohol since. It’s hard to adjust but you will do it and you’ll come out of it stronger and more focused.

Talk to your doctor about changing your drugs. It’s in everyone’s interest that you stay active and healthy There is a new generation of medications such as Lamictal which may prove effective for you and have no side effects.

If you enjoyed biking in the past then try everything you can to get back into it. Life gets so much better when you have something to obsess and complain about. Exercise is so important to stay sane. I’m not sure why you say no more biking. If the risk is riding on the road then find a way to avoid the roads.

    Good luck

O-rings on the valve stem on either side of the rim FTW. Mavic do a lockring with an recess for an o-ring which helps.

I’ve ripped the sidewalls or found big cuts in the tread of every single TL ready Schwalbe tyre that I have ever owned (several Nobby Nics, several Fat Alberts and a Hans Dampf) I only use Maxxis tyres now – I never ripped one of these in the last year ( non UST 2.4 Ardents)

Riding my 17.5kg Surly Moonlander up to a real moonscape at 3000m. Made it up to 2000m in the snow, much to the surprise of everyone I met up there.

A pedantic point but Holz Hausen is plural of Holz Haus. If you’ve only got one then it’s a Holz Haus. Should actually be written as one word: Holzhaus(en)

Looks great by the way. I might try building one but it would need to be on a slope so there would be additional challenges.

Marin B17, 1997ish – had it from new. Gave it away to my LBS to pass on to someone who would ride it rather than keeping it in the garage like me. Would love to get it back, even just for one ride

No rock collecting (specifically alpine crystals). £350 fine. Didn’t see anything myself but I was concentrating on pedaling as fast as I could so it’s not surprising.
