I’m looking at the M2 and in the same boat, my Philips has got a widely spaced foot either side so I think I’ll fashion a little platform for each foot so the TV bridges over the M2. I had a look at the M3 as well but being a bar rather than a base it would obscure the bottom of the TV as it sits very low.

A few things, get a single 8gb stick then add another to go dual channel, and an ATX mobo won’t support onboard graphics so use the old card for now. Definitely get an SSD, with a 480gb for just over £40 or 240gb for £25 it would be crazy not to. As far as CPU it’s hard to see past AMD Ryzen right now, in terms of bang for buck they’re killing it.

On a Seth Rogen tip I thought This Is The End was really underrated, and not a film but Future Man is brilliant.

I’d seen Mindhunter recommended several times but didn’t really feel the appeal, watched the first episode and I could take it or leave it at that point but stuck with it and it really grabbed me, one of the best thing I’ve seen in a while.

I’ve just started running again after two years of pretty much zero exercise, I’m five runs in and just managed to do 5k in 35 minutes which feels like a bit of an accomplishment but still a bit demoralising when I think where I was. I picked up some Eufy smart scales which seem pretty good and am going to pick up a Garmin to give me some stats to pick through and hopefully keep me interested and on track.
