He even mentioned spending £130 on some aerial that you stick on your house that then creates a bitcoin network and simply for doing that, you earn money!

Sounds like Helium/HNT, it uses less power than an LED lightbulb and is creating a network for the IOT, fundamentals are about as solid as it gets, boxes are much more than £130 but I’m looking for hosts to “borrow” one of my boxes in exchange for 35% of the profit, free money….

It would seem he started his own coin on the promise of giving money to charity, sold loads to randoms, then shut it down and ran off with the money

Ergo all crypto currencies are rugpulls…..

I’ve not read the books but after two episodes I’d rate it 10/10 on the barely watchable cheeseometer.

Which also coincides with the rise of social media. There is and always has been wars and atrocities going on since the dawn of time, but as we get older we are more aware and undertake more responsibilities, all of which impacts on your mental state.

I would say the use of Social Media by right wing establishments to mete out and apportion blame and manipulate the hard of thinking is the biggest factor in the state of society.

Boba will ride into town on is horse Bantha next week.

If he sets off next week he might arrive midway through Mando season 3.

The Mando led stuff is so much better than Boba Fett, the character has lost all it’s mystique and without wanting to sound fattist Morrison just looks a bit too portly.

Deepfake Luke is such a huge improvement, I’d happily watch a ‘young’ Luke series or film and wouldn’t be surprised if that’s in the offing.

It will be every man for himself where the majority will happily screw over anyone to step up another rung on the ladder or even just to knock others down a rung so your position seems comparatively better, people will happily intimidate you, swerve at you and run you off the road just to get to work five seconds earlier. Oh wait that’s now isn’t it? Welcome to Tory Britain.

I’d recommend scavenging a half tidy screen and spending £500 on the base unit. IIRC I’m not far from you so drop me a message if the going down the custom built route interests you.

I’m conflicted on the matter, I had covid in the first wave and had severe reactions to my first dose of AZ and the the follow up, yet it looks like I can’t get medical exemption and still get bombarded with letters and texts to go and Get Boosted, go and get ****ed!

Pester solicitors several times a week and have the other side do the same, relay information back and forth between yourselves or via EA.

Bought my Steelcase Think about ten years back from an office reclamation place and I’d definitely buy again if it died, but it’s built like a tank so probably a chair for life.

I’ve got the Makita 3ah twin pack and it’s really good, was using a Titan before that but got through a few replacements under warranty. I was in Screwfix this morning and saw they had a great deal on a 5ah brushless DeWalt twin set for £170

My copy and paste review from Facebook –

Having slept on it I can confirm it’s truly a steaming hot pile. My Mrs was asking me details and I started answering before realising I couldn’t because it made no sense. It’s got more holes in the plot than a rusty colander, you’ll be asking yourself things like why did they devise that cunning plan and when they could just do what they said they couldn’t do? Why did they stop chasing them? Why did they stop shooting at them? The main fight scene was reminiscent of one of those horrible train station flash mob dance things and it comes to something when the best thing about the film is Doogie f-ing Howser MD.

Any helium miners out there? Seams brilliant but I’ve probably missed the boat on this one.

Yep I’ve got a bit of a fleet on the go, always on the lookout for hosts. :)

This was a wicked set upstairs in the Sanctuary, I remember it was the hottest day of the year, they’d oversold way too many tickets and it was raining sweat off the roof. My mates were all checking Ray Keith in the main arena but glad I caught this.

If Bitcoin crashes the alts will go with it, it works in stages and usually Bitcoin pumps first then ETH and the alts will have there turn, sometimes ETH takes the lead. It’s more like BTC will retrace to the 50 day average on a particular timeframe and stabilize there rather than crash.

We’ve got an ACR Rowandale multifuel in one room and it’s frustratingly crap, it’s a pig to light without smoke blowing back into the room, controls have little to no effect until you reach a point where the fire just wants to go out, the height of the firebox because of the multifuel setup mean you can barely fit another log in until the previous log is dust. Oh and the glass gets absolutely filthy after 5 minutes of use

In another room we have a DG Ivar 5 and it’s absolutely brilliant, lights super easily, really controllable with just the one lever, the firebox is a really good size so you can load it up for hours and the glass stays clear for weeks, I’d highly recommend, believe the hype.

Both stoves have identical flue setups.

Absolute rubbish, I’ve withdrawn mine this morning. I could make more in a day speculating 1% of my savings on crypto than I have made in a year on PBs.

I’m enjoying this one still, but I think they might run the risk of flogging it a series too far

I enjoyed all the previous ones but have only watched the first episode of this series and found myself cringing for the most part.

Hotel Fron is reasonable, comfortable and brilliantly located, make sure you get the Appy Hour app and you can get drinks at normal UKish prices.

any chance we can go back to slagging off the show instead of each other please?

It’s utter drivel, pretty much every BBC drama loses the plot and descends into badly written absurd nonsense that sharply takes a turn from anything resembling reality, this usually happens in the final third of the series so it’s quite impressive that Vigil managed this in the first episode.

I think your only slight glimmer of hope at this point would be going to the press and try to tug on some heartstrings and shame the bank into an act of goodwill.

In seven years we haven’t spent a penny and burn a lot with two stoves. Not at the same time but different areas of the house mean we’re burning pretty much all day in the winter, I hate to think what it would have cost if we’d paid for it all.

I’m really scared of having the second dose of AZ, despite not knowing what is wrong with me after the first 8 weeks ago my GP insists that on balance I should get the second jab, I’m not so sure and am genuinely conflicted.

If he was genuinely concerned about potential side effects I’d completely understand having had covid/long covid and serious side effects from the first Astra Zeneca jab.
