Well now you've explained yourself it does make sense whereas saying "the frame has slacker angles to deal with longer forks." I genuinly had no idea what you were talking about, and sorry yes I did think you were a noob, but I can't be the first to make that mistake…. :P

    Thx

the frame has slacker angles to deal with longer forks.

I'm not sure what you mean….The longer the forks are the slacker the angles become.

Running 130mm forks over 140mm would make the head/seat angle about 1/2 a degree steeper as well as BB slightly lower and wheelbase very slightly shorter.

IMO Talas feel rubbish compared to Floats and Vans.

Download and run Ccleaner and Combofix in safe mode for a start, I'd then follow up with Spybot S&D and Microsoft onecare safety scanner.

I think spurs will have a decent season under 'arry, probably 5th or 6th but maybe one better with Liverpool looking as bad as they do. It's been said before but beyond the first 11 they have nothing, and even then the only players I really rate are the obvious two, Carragher and piranha face.

Man U obviously weekened but by how much? Can 'thriller' (Nani) step up? I don't think so….

It's a two horse race for me between Chelsea who have kept a good solid platform and have added a real quality player in Zhirkov and the ever improving Arsenal.

CRC do DT spokes, the Comps are £15 for 36 including nipples IIRC.

Are you saying he didn't notice his wheel hanging off? He should have parked it straight away….

Alonso should be banned at the very least, he could have easily killed another driver or even a marshal or spectators….Just look at Surtees a few days before.

He's one of the best few drivers out there, but I hate the big chinned basterdo, now even more so.

I can't wait to see IB and District 9, Gamer and Surrogates look promising as well.

Just get as much info as poss, SWIF/BIC and IBAN, bank name and address as well as their full name and address.

Rather than log in to debay just search for the item number on UK ebay and you can add it to your watch list.

I think most Chermans have an in built hatred of Paypal and will insist on bank tranfer, which cost about £15 from most banks.

Yeah I just noticed I left rooney and a better midfielder/defender on the bench. I really should have bought Fabregas, he was like a one man team.

Anyway it's a good weekend to be a gooner, write off at your peril!

It's a Canadian shop that sells on Ebay and Pinkbike, I didn't go through Ebay and got free shipping, which only took 5 days to arrive, 3 of those spent in East Midlands Airport….I'll mail you some links.

With propedal off it tracks terrain very well, the back end is incredably stiff with no lateral flex, good old Banshee internally ribbed box section. The attention to detail is awesome as well with all the custom CNC bits, sealed BB tube, internal gussets on the top and down tubes

I've got a 2.35 Maxxis and you could probably go a little bigger, not the greatest mud clearance ever but it doesn't bother me.

I was looking at the Banshee Rune, SC BLT, B4X and Ibis Mojo untill I found this….

How about one of these for £500 brand new including an 09 Fox RP23?

This is mine and I absolutely love it, it pedals like a hardtail even out the saddle, it's the 07 Pyre which has 5.5" of travel whereas the latest Pyre is more xc orientated with only 4" travel.

    The shop I bought it from still have a 16" and a 14"…mines a 17"

Some 36s from the bike outlet, hope hoops from winstanleys and thats only just over £1k, leaveing plenty for some pimp drivetrain/finishing kit.

If you're anywhere near Newport/Cwmcarn you are welcome to have a quick blast on mine.

I've had the yellow Joe Blow Sport for a while and very happy with it so far…it seems sturdy enough. I killed my Aldi one after one use.

Check out Winstanleys prices, they don't hold stock either but they only took 6 days to deliver my EX721/SP AM4 wheels…which are nice.

I think it's probably the case that most r/etailers won't hold stock of Hope Hoops but will order on demand…

I havn't looked at these for years but I'd imagine something like a nitro rustler would be a good bet. Much more fun than battery power, built to last and will pretty much drive over anything…. but dangerous if 'abused' as they are quite a lump and pretty fast.

Goodridge don't use olives, there is a threaded needle section that simply screws in or out of the inner bore of the hose….job done.

The Goodridge connectors will unscrew from the hose, no need to cut.

Oh dear, I like how in the video they spend most of their time on the back wheel. You would need to manual a pebble or you'd go over the bars.

Yep as said RP3 = Rebound Propedal 3 settings

No such thing as a RPL or RLP only Float RL as far as I'm aware.

Edit actually there is an RPL, ah well you learn something new every day…

I used a bench grinder and then a linishing belt to get it nice and flat.

You need to grind the chamfered edge off the socket or use a spanner as the cap is so shallow.
