    £50-£60 I'd say, a Van R would fetch about £40.

You will want the shock length measured from eye to eye an also the shock stroke – the length of shaft visible when the shock is uncompressed.

What's wrong with a pen drive?

There are plenty of online storage providers and I think most of the larger ISPs are providing this service now…at a cost.

    Cheers

Yeah I've used it in a few Pikes, Rebas and my 36/32s. 15wt in the lowers and either 5wt in the MoCo or a blend of the two.

A high volume shock will not be as progressive as one with a standard can so yes, it will go through the end of the stroke faster/easier.

as other oils aeriate too much and will **** everything up.

You mean get passed the seals? Ah.

No that means the oil will foam/froth up and not stay where it's supposed to be.

I've been using fully synth motor oil lately on the forks I've worked on and they all feel realy slick, was recommended by the Enduro fork seals people.

but these things do happen and it's because thank god they are that rare

Diaby, Eduardo and now Ramsey in the last four years, not so rare if you're an Arsenal player….

Poor kid (not financially)As a Welsh Gooner I just hope he makes a full recovery, it's been obvious to see he's got the potential to be one of the very best in the game, it would be sad if he never realized that potential because of some bloody clogger, not a malicious but definitely a very bad tackle.

Something else you could try would be to loosen the stem bolts, pull down on the forks, up on the stem and try undoing the bolt at the same time.

I'd go with drilling the head off the bolt then knock it through the right way, unless you can use a screwdriver or something to wedge the threaded part of the sfn and stop it turning.

Oh grow up from the very outset I asked a serious question then you critsized me! Then yes I did rather childishly start calling you names (in jest), but it really winds me up when keyboard warriors get the wrong end of the stick and start throwing their e-weight around.

but I see you mostly use this forum to buy and sell stuff, so I hope this comes back to bite you in the ass.

I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting?

I like bikes, I sell any spare parts I have, I buy parts when I upgrade my bikes, I try to help wherever I can and occationaly ask for advice, what exactly is wrong with that?

If you want to continue this email me because this guys thread is ruined.

    Cheers

Would it not be polite to ask me?

I thought I did in my first post..

Anyway sorry I wanted to help but the need for new stuff meant I couldn't so I wondered why you were being so picky. Then the internet police get on my back…

And I don't see how any of this benefits me I'm just wasting my time trying to help.

    F it I won't be back

He's looking for freebies that most of us would put in the bin I think. So no, I don't think it is.

Sombody's trying to do something good. Can you not think of something positive to say?

You're a c**t? No wait that's not positive either is it…. Oh well I give up.

I was all up for helping out untill I saw everything had to be new, I've got inner tubes, allen keys, grease guns, tyre levers etc but none of it is new, and I'm not going out to buy a magazine to get some free allen keys to give away.

But I do think it's good what he's doing, just don't see what the big thing is about the tools needing to be new.

I used to work for a local authority and most of the management were a bunch of crooks. Lots of mysterious contracts dished out to friends for say 10 men on a five day week where in reality two blokes turned up for a day or two tops every few weeks.

in reality you are going to need to replace the bearings at some point in any hub, so something with easy parts access is the way to go.
    So that rules out Hadley

Not true, Erik @ Balle Racing keeps service parts in stock and shipping is very quick.

I've not used CK but Hadley are the best I have, not the lightest but super smooth and lovely quality.
