All hail the new world leader, surely nothing can compete with the triple decker forehead thing he's got going on…

On the other end of the scale

My Banshee came with an RP23 which was ok, repleced with a DHX5 coil which was better, but now using a Zocchi Roco TST R which feels in a different league to both the Fox shocks, super plush and the back end feels more lively and bites into the terrain like an angry turtle. The TST platform is very effective and easy to use on the fly.

And it only cost me £80 2nd hand, well worth a look IMO.

I did the coverage test so they can have the thing back if there's no signal…

Will it last for 2 years? Let me look into my crystal ball….yep it will if I don't break it. I've had this poxy W800i thing for 5 or 6 years but it really has passed it's best before date now. :D

According to the sales rep they will be in stock before 12 tomorrow for delivery Thursday, as many have suggested I just called up and mentioned cashback sites and they pretty much instantly offered a £35 discount. It's certainly worth trying Voda retentions first though I'd have thought.

Agreed Zombieland is awesome, without giving too much away it has possibly the best cameo appearance in a film ever.

You might need a narrower socket, mine tapers towards the end is yours flat/straight?

    No probs.

It's just an 8mm socket IIRC, the bearing can be knocked out from the other side.

Hans I paid just over £700 for the bike less the bits mentioned above.

I think the Totems really complete it. :D

The "sofa saddle" will be the first thing to go, 2nd hand Thomson post located and black and orange Selle Yutaak ready to go on.

I bought the bike of a guy called Stevie in NI off these forums less the forks, brakes, gears and a few other bits, I had the Totems, King and Saints after selling my Bullit frame.

Yep it is ugly as hell…that's why i like it!

Yeah it's my mums house hence the overuse of violent pink

How would I have time to play with my bikes if I was putting trellis up all the time?

He seems like a thoroughly decent bloke and no matter what trainig he's had you can't fault his determination, it's hell of an achievement for anyone.

I'm going to use Loctite 651 as well but I wouldn't have trusted it by itself.

Maybe not all frames but I've had a Cove and Santa Cruz when the inside of the headtube was painted the same as the outside of the frame.

I don't think it's going to go anywhere as there was no wobble just not enough inteference on the fit.

Alot of the Mavic rims are around that number, the only two things you need to be concerned about are the spokes being too long and piercing the rim tape/tube or too short and not catching enough threads.

Peel back the rim tape and you will get an idea if the spokes are currently on the long/short side or just right.
