We had the same while selling last year, have heard from several reliable sources it’s become a much more common thing, citing austerity, brexshit and warning signs of London prices stagnating. We had 6 offers over asking price with a week but the surveyor tried to down-value the house by £16k, the only hole he could pick in it was that it might be on a site of radon gas, then again it might not. They asked if we could come down in price and we said we’d knock a few k of but not 16k, they came back a few days later to say they’d found the cash but we’d already decided to go down a different route.

They’re probably better now but the only brand I’d avoid due to past experience would be OCZ, which is now Toshiba, I remember in the early days of SSD you were actually consumer beta testing firmware.

Why wouldn’t they be? They’ve been making flash memory for donkey’s years and are a well respected brand, and while they are cheap so are all SSDs at the moment, cheapest they’ve ever been.

I make electronica now using various synths and a PC, when I was young I dabbled with the recorder, guitar, banjo, church organ and played piano and cello to a pretty decent level, got 139 out of 150 grade 6 cello when I was nine, gave it up at the first opportunity unfortunately.

To add to my earlier reply I replaced the Nokia with an Honor 10, on the whole its really good with a few minor annoyances, the sound is nowhere near as good as the Nokia and the speaker’s location on the bottom is easily muffled. The location of the power button and volume buttons on the side is awkward and I sometimes find myself knocking the screen off or taking loads of bloody screenshots. And the Honor overlay since an update forces me to use an unlock code when running a non default launcher.

I had two faulty Nokia 8’s before I got my money back, the phone itself was generally excellent but quality was piss poor so wouldn’t touch with a bargepole.

It’s 100% not a Wych elm or any type of elm, so probably doesn’t have Dutch elm disease and isn’t dying, a bit of an aphid infestation perhaps. Leaves look like goat willow and the bark looks like willow but I’d expect it to be more fissured.

We had a good experience but I’d recommend paying up front. If you defer payment you’ll open a credit agreement with Chase Brothers and be forced to use their conveyancers, not a huge deal but all the same….
