Silver Zone or Goblin Combe Farm have always been fine for me.

I had similar issues immediately after having my first Astra-Zeneca booster, extreme fatigue, brain fog, I couldn’t remember how to drive to places I went every day, terrible ocular migraine, a range of GI issues initially I could only describe as a sicky hungry churning feeling later followed by extreme pain and unexplainable bleeding.  Bloods showed my iron levels were through the roof but came back down gradually, genetic test showed I had one of the genes so was prone.

I perhaps stupidly allowed myself to be talked into having the next booster by medical professionals and guess what? Much better now but never got completely back to normal.

Behringer unless you want to splash out on something like an Abstract Avalon. The D16 VST is quite nice but I think really best hands on.

    Loads of good shouts
    The Wire
    Sopranos
    BoB
    Generation Kill
    Chernobyl
    Nathan Barley
    Barry
    Severance
    Andor
    BB
    Succession
    Six Feet Under
    True Detective
    The Boys

But if I had to try to narrow it down it would be The Leftovers followed by Watchmen.

Madeira is our go to winter sun destination, great weather, loads of interesting walking/hiking/riding/activities, lovely food and a bit more civilized then the canaries IMO.

Thinking about going DIY kitchens for our next one. Our last two were IKEA and we were very happy with the quality, both fitters stated they’d never fitted them before due to all the rumours about them being a PITA to fit but were very impressed with the quality and the way they go together. We created our own service void though and mounted the cabinets on a piece of timber which then also allowed us to use deeper worktops.

I think it’s excellent, it’s slow and political and it plods along but I could watch it all day, the lack of gimmicky aliens and the Britishness of it helps, there’s something very nostalgic about it and it reminds me of sci-fi from back in my childhood.

That was one of the ugliest houses I’ve seen in quite sometime, nice details in isolation but an incoherent mess. The bit where she started welling up because they had to drive by the site a few times on the way home, paint the odd room and hang some pictures had me on the verge of shouting at the TV, absolutely clueless.

So the tiled floor is level and the wood floor runs off? What substrate is under the tiles? Is the other side floorboards on joists? That would drive me crazy…

Far from free but Izotope is a good all in one solution, you mentioned reverb but wouldn’t that be going into the realm of taking creative liberties?

Based on Boris, Brexit and Trump logic I’ll go with Raab, Mogg or Patel.

I find that pal and bud wind my up almost as much as someone calling me son. I prefer to go with bro or brosephine if it’s a lady.

Difficult to say what gain without knowing your location and topography, I could run a simulation if you send me your postcode. As for brands McGill are decent but a bit pricey and I’m not overly keen on some of their sales tactics. Have not tried one but Ceetech are pretty new on the scene and highly regarded, Connextech are really good value for money and also well priced for cables.
Getting the antenna as high as possible is essential, ideally on a pole on your chimney or similar and connect with LMR/HF/CLF 400 series cable. Most of my installs I try to get the hotspot into the loft to keep the cable run and losses as short and low as possible.

Definitely more than a touch of an intergalactic Sajid Javid going on with the Grand Inquisitor.

Not bad, the chase/fight scene in ep2 was a bit crap, the old let’s stop shooting so they can have a heartfelt moment, Obi gets downstairs in 2.3 seconds and number 3 is only a few rooftops away but is still busting some serious parkour a few scenes later. And number 3 is a bit American isn’t she? Accent really grates for me.

You assume correctly, they’re used for tracking cattle and monitoring water levels but are also some of the best performing hotspots in the world.

As said it’s a Helium antenna, possibly a 6dbi McGill. I’ve got a few dotted around various hosts and a few solar deployments at the top of a mountain.

Sky next week has series 3 of the awesome (well series 1 was anyway) Barry to look forward to.

Oooh brilliant, take a loose 15.

Severance was the best thing I’d seen for a good while, really well done by Stiller, in the final episode you know what’s coming to an extent but the tension build is great.

Outer Range – entertaining but lots of why would you do that, that’s just stupid scenes. It’s one of those where I wonder if they even know where the show is going out there just making it up as they go along, or they do know where they’re going but it’ll get cancelled before we ever find out.

Tokyo Vice – very good and a bit of an eye opener into how crimes is treated in Japan if it’s anywhere near accurate.

Slow Horses – currently the best thing on, properly gripping right from the get go.

I think at best Kim is banged up for a very long time, mayyybe in hiding but probably banged up or dead.
The curious case of Benjamin Ehrmantraut is getting a bit of a stretch to take seriously….

It’s a total con that will require a complete reroof to fix, even then it’s a complete nightmare to get rid of. It also makes houses unmortgageable.

Ironically the entire crypto market (including all shitcoins) is currently just a gamble on the question of whether or not BTC is going to make it into general adoption

Really? And exactly what is this general adoption everyone is waiting for?

I’ve got the big Titan beastie and the little 18v Makita with no breaker function and would recommend both, but very different animals, the Makita is super handy for drilling plugs in awkward places which is what I got it for. If you’re buying Makita there’s 10% off selected sellers on ebay at the moment which usually means good deals to be had.

What product are people using to insulate their suspended floors? Beside the obvious don’t use foil backed stuff google just seems to suggest using overly fancy/expensive jute based eco hipster warrior stuff.

Does anybody else think the Marty/Wendy relationship has echos of Walt/Jessie? It’s the way one was bad and one against it, then they flip around, then flip again then team up.

I said on here a few years back that I thought the whole thing was based on the Breaking Bad anti-hero you can relate to concept, the only difference is that with Ozark every character is an unlikable **** that you couldn’t care less about and kind of hope they die.
