Everyone who states that these styles of cameras are redundant if you don’t do some sort of extreme sport etc aren’t looking at the big picture. The camera is the market leading sports video camera, but its also a truly great family point and shoot camera!!

I’ve just had my olympus tough spring a leak whilst using it under water. Was considering a GoPro as a replacement but can’t get over the lack of viewfinder/live view thing on the back. Interested to hear how you feel about/deal with that.

Paul Components WORD hubs can be adjusted quite easily. I had some build last year and after a few ride developed some play. Quick stop and adjust and everything has been fine since.

That allen bolt on the collar is what you need to look at.

So far so good. Front end is a little lower than inbred so feels a bit more racey. Definitely quicker last night. Lots of Strava personal records claimed.

What about this from beerbabe? she might be able to do something custom for you. I’m very happy with the custom tool roll she did for me.

I used to where a vest when I worked in Oz. It kinda prevents the sweat marks.

@tomd – Is your El Mar geared? Would you say it’s a heavy frame?

I’ve actually ridden an inbred 29er recently. I liked it. If we remove the fact an inbred 29er frame is a third of the price of an El Mar. How do they compare?

I’d be interested in hearing from some El Mar owners on whether they are heavy, how they ride etc.

The two are markedly different not necessarily in what they do but how they approach it

I’m looking at 29er single speeds. Currently riding an inbred. Wondered whether a shorter chain stay would stop the rear wheel losing traction on some climbs.

This book is pretty good. 83p for the kindle edition.

The method is pretty much the same on every curry. Fry an onion, remove from pan, blitz with a plum tomato or two. Fry your dried spice, then add meat, veg or whatever. Then return the onion tomato mix. Simmer on lowest heat for a while.

The balti and jalfrezi recipes are my fav from the book.
