I have to say I agree with fraseruk. Inverie and the Knoydart is one of the remote parts of the UK and not easy MTB terrain.

It’s quite common to come across people riding certain sections back to front in the dark. I’ve done it myself. If it’s after dark you can be seen easily and I give way to people going the right way.

The BV carpark shuts at dusk I think. A better place to park would be the visitors centre at Marquis Drive. The parking is free and is ungated.
